Well, guys, I switched from nTelos to Verizon the other day and ordered an LG Lucid 2. Not really much of a development team yet, but with a locked boot loader, it will be a slow process. It has root and apparently the CWM from another phone works on it, but I will wait to try it.

Anyways, I will still be checking in on a regular basis and see how things are going. Ill let you guys know if I decide to donate my Admire :)

I'm Moving To Verizon Soon, Since Metro PCS Doesn't Have Service Where I Live At /: My Cousin Told Me To Get An iPhone -_- But I'm Getting A Galaxy S3 :D Hopefully The Lucid 2 Gets Development Soon. It Looks Like A Great Phone

Yeah, LG likes to lock the fun parts. Well, at least I have root, and apparently CWM from another device works but I'm not sure how safe that is.

Well our cwm with motion is from another phone as well. In fact its just an apk that was created for some chinese lg phone. So imagine that risk that was taken using an apk from thay was meant from a device from another country

All i know is that lg likes to keep many of their phones similars so i would like to believe that whenever the motion gets unlocked, the spirit and perhaps the lucid2 will become unlocked as well. They just used their private key to lock it which is the problem. No one has been able to crack it.

Interesting. So you think I should give it a shot and see what happens? What issues could I run into? Bricks?

Well i dont exactly know how the cwm is for your phone so i cant really urge you to do it. As for the apk, ot could work as well and from what some have said there is no risk of bricking the phone with it but there is the risk of factory resetting if the wrong option is selected. Id wait a little more if i were you.

Lucid 2 and the Spirit are alot alike. I've actually installed the entire Lucid 2 firmware on the Spirit, and the only thing that doesn't work is the screen and touch controls are horizontally and vertically inverted.

There is working being done on unlocking the Spirit and the Motion. So expect that work to trickle down to other LG MSM8660/8960 phones when it is complete.

well the link in my signature is one way, you basically do offers to get points where you can then trade the points for a variety gift cards or a check if you want. There offers that requires app downloads so i do them on my Admire. There is also swagbucks.com, which has an app that you can run to earn 50 points a day which isnt much granted, but it does build up over time especially if you do other offers which again can include app download offers. with that site you can get many types of gift cards even paypal. there also many many legit apps on the playstore that you pretty much do the same from your phone and get points. This all really takes a while so you really have to commit to doing iton your spare time. I myself try to earn at least $1 or $2 a day which is actually prety easy considering members can earn a lot more daily. but for me that amount is good, its worked for me so far
