If anyone wants to root this device you can root it without bootloader unluck by using "motochopper". Just google it,download,enable usb debugging,and run it. It automatically runs,just follow prompts. If youre using windows run the"run.bat".

it says optimus F5 but this is the one i used and i had no problems

when i try it the cursoe just blinks and nothing happens. Am I missing something? I have the drivers, debugging going. The Daemon starts but port 5037 but nothing after that.

Okay, I went to the S4 motochopper forum and saw that I needed to update my drivers. Reboot. Done. Whole process completed in 30 seconds. thanks.

Yeah I had to uninstall the drivers that the phone automatically downloaded to my comuputer and went to the LG F7 website and downloaded the drivers they had for the phone from their site.

Yes this is not hard recovery because LG lock bootloader.
If you want go to recovery when you boot your phone, let press menu (touch) button for many time when phone go to boot animation. It will automatic go to CWM

PS: Can you help me dump system.img from your phone?
