Why I Joined

I am brand new to the smart phone concept, and rather clueless. In the past I have been content with POTS (plain old telephone service), but I have been dragged kicking and screaming into the brave new world by my company's mandatory Bring Your Own Device policy.

There is irony here, because I am a professional software engineer with decades (never mind how many) of experience. I can make a general purpose computer sing and dance, but these finger motions on tablets and smart phones are alien to me.

Anyway, I hope to learn how to take full advantage of the power of the smart phone, now that I have one.

Took me forever to spot the button in the lower right part of the post. Now it is obvious, but prior to right now, it was utterly invisible to me. Oh, well.
