Help All of a sudden, dropping calls

Had my phone since it first came out and had very few issues at all, i love it.

I am rooted, running CleanRom for as long as i can remember ...

All of a sudden, last week or so ... 1 in 3 calls gets dropped! I look down and see my service went to zero bars, or 1X or something. Very often

Is this a Verizon issue? An S3 issue? whats going on? What can i try?

It is SUPER annoying to have to continuously call people back and say sorry.

Could be a tower issue or maintenance. Call Verizon and ask them if anything is going on or if there are other reports of issues in your area.
Do you know of other folks on Verizon having issues around you?

Friends on VZW are not having issues, and im afraid to call tech support because my bootloader is unlocked. Id sooner just buy a new phone .... if i knew for sure that was the issue.

It is not happening in one area. For example, I have a 50mi drive home from work. Talking on the phone for an hour while driving (using headset) i'll drop the call usually 3 or 4 times within the hour. Different towns, different locations, etc.

Well, all you would be doing is inquiring about tower issues.
Have you tried flashing a different radio?
