So I pre ordered the Incredible through Best Buy the other day. I asked them about Verizon's online discount of $100 and another $100 off with new every two discount. The sales rep did not know about the deal but said they would price match whatever Verizon had on their site. I'm hoping they will match it, the guy seemed really nice. Anyone else run into this?

Haha, the thing is that the NE2 isn't going to be on their site--public page; it's going to be under your account--which is on their site.

You can try printing out your page that shows your NE2 discount though.

They will. You get the phone for $100.00 because of the $100 instant rebate for ordering online (best buy no longer does mail in rebates so it is an instant) you save the other $100.00 because of your ne2(best buy should be able to pull that up and see you are due for that) i used to work at best buy for 5 years.

so did you get the $99 price?

does best buy have a working model of it?

Best Buy wont have there display up until the 28th of april and is also the date they will be getting the phones(but cant sell them till the 29th street date)

It's $100 only if your monthly bill is over $59.99 (or something like that) and your two year contract started before February 2008.

has to do with plan you are currently on...mine was only 50 as well with the 700 minute family plan.

Also, my best buy said only the manager could give the ne2 price match and he wasn't there when I walked in so decided to order online from Verizon instead.

There is no longer a NE2 $100 credit regardless of your plan. There use to be mutiple $100 on the same account for different lines. Now it is only a $50 NE2 credit for the primary. I've also seen some $30 ones as well.

If your 2-year contracted started before Feb 2008, then you still have it at $100. Unfortunately my contracted started 1-2 months after that... *sigh* My NE2 was only enough to offset tax.
