Help bluetooth won't turn on

ok so outta nowhere my bluetooth will not turn on... the widget just spins, never turns on. and yes, i've tried turning it on from the settings, and yes i've reset the phone and taken out the battery.

anyone have any info on this or is this just another glitch with android 1.5 or the hero? thank you.

hummm...issue closed? as soon as i posted this thread, i removed the battery for the 3rd time and it connected. weird... well, i guess i don't need help, but any additional insight on bluetooth not coming on would be appreciated.

Does it turn on slowly? Make sure USB Debugging is on...seems to have an effect.

on this particular attempt, debuggin was on and it spun (the widget) for about 5 minutes before i said..."no!!" and reset the phone. but really, this is the first i've seen of this...and the 3rd time i reset the phone, it came on like a charm. maybe there was a ghost in my room interfering with my bluetooth connection??

Same issue here. I just bought the Galaxy S2. At the moment, it's one of the two top line devices from T-Mobile & Samsung's flagship in the USA. Why is this happening? I'm so over Android, but T-Mobile doesn't have any non-Android high-end devices. My 4 year old Nokia can handle bluetooth on/off in a second... still. I already ditched my Sensation for glitches w/ album art. Now, this is glitching w/ bluetooth & album art. I'm convinced Android users must be folks who are new to smartphones and have never used the iPhone or they'd know how glitchy and buggy these devices are

I am sorry you have been experiencing issues with your Android handsets. No device is infallible, though, and that includes iOS and Windows Phone devices as well.

Try shutting down your handset and removing the battery for a minute and see if that helps. If it does not, then consider doing a factory reset to remedy the problem. If you continue to experience an issue with Bluetooth, it could be hardware related. In that case, contact T-Mobile and arrange for a replacement.

Same issue here. I just bought the Galaxy S2

You'd be better raising this in the Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile) section. It may appear the same issue, but with the hardware differing greatly (not to mention it being a different carrier) you'll get more accurate advice there.

Spend some time here and you'll meet plenty of folks who were using smartphones before the iPhone was a twinkle in SJ's eye.
