Root [Verizon] What ROM are folks running?

I will be a new owner of a Verizon S3 soon and will likely be unlocking and ROMing it day one.
XDA is pretty gangbusters over there for ROM selections, but what are folks running here?
I would like to be close to AOSP but if I lose parts of the great camera software that'd be a bummer. Is CleanROM one of the best out there right now?
I'm currently running AOKP on my Gnex, which I love, and looks like they have support for the S3.

I've heard alot of goodness for CarbonRom...haven't checked it out myself.

Yeah, I saw that too and added it to the sticky, and others here have tried it with success too
If and when my daughter lets me, I'm going to try that method on her device

Any stock jelly bean ROMs out there? I was trying to go back to Stock Android through apps, but it's annoying I think I may just go for a ROM if I can find one.

+1 on the cleanrom . . . You won't be disappointed. Also, I would recommend Leankernel (3.0 now). They definately play well together . . .

I've been running CarbonRom v1.7 with the Ktoonsez K747 kernel and I am totally satisfied! I had been running CleanROM prior to CarbonRom and have to say it it's a fabulous ROM! Just got tired of TW

Both ROMs are rock solid

Carbon ROM nightly 6/29 here with KT kernel. Had a bunch of reboots with 6/13 nightly. Love me some Halo.

Yeah, Touchwiz roms are bloated as hell compared to the AOSP roms we're use to on Nexus devices.

I think my TF roms are too bloated at 500MB

Yes, but most TW ROMs allow you to select exactly what bloatware you want to flash to the device; all the different options for launchers, cameras, etc., are included, which adds up on space quickly.

the Jelly Beans ROM by beanstown106 is a good mix of AOSP features on a TW ROM, if you're looking for a mix
