Thinking of coming back to droid

I got ride of my HTC Evo for an iPhone 4S almost 2 years ago however I'm thinking of coming back I miss the big screen and the 4g so we are due for an upgrade in a few months and I'm thinking about getting the Samsung Galaxy S4, my question is however I don't want to lose my iTunes music I have over 400 songs downloaded so is there a droid app that will allow me to sync my iTunes if I do came back to an android phone?

You can use the google play music system. There is an application for pc or Mac that will copy all your iTunes music (up to 20,000 files) to googles servers so you can use the google play music app to stream or download your music to your phone.

As long as you run it, it will also copy over any additional purchases you make.

P.s. ive noticed the word "droid" seems to grate on people unless your talking about the actual brand name Droid. Just a tip bro

Very true!

It's like saying San Fran or Frisco. It means you don't anything about the Bay Area or San Francisco.

Or saying Cali when referring to California. My reply if you say that around me "Cali is a city in Colombia"

That's come from movies hasn't it? Sure I've heard "San Fran" used quite a few times.

I'll often use HK for Hong Kong. But then I don't suppose that's any different to writing LA or NYC.

I actually saw a TV show a long time ago where they caught this guy partly because he lied about his past. One of the guys who caught him was asked how he knew about the guy not being from San Francisco and he said "you know anyone from San Francisco who calls it Frisco?"

FYI, You can say San Francisco, SF or The City (but you can only say "The City" if you are actually currently in another part of the Bay Area when you say it)

"Droid" is also a colloquial term used for "android" as a kind of shorthand. Fortunately I've never seen anyone get so hung up on it the way Apple fans got violently angry just for saying "itouch" vs. "iPod touch" yeesh you'd think some would appreciate less typing. In Classic Mac days they got vehemently upset if you called it a MAC vs. Mac

Yeah lol i really hope my comment didnt seem narky lol. Reading back it looks like it but i didnt mean it in that way. Was just trying to say in a friendly way that people dont seem to like it on android forums. Not because its shortened, just because it could cause confusion about what phone youre using

I can't answer your iTunes question since I've never given a dollar to Apple, but I can tell you that the S4 is a very solid phone, although not a "Droid." The Samsung features heavily promoted in their advertising though are very underwhelming, so I wouldn't rule out a Google Edition S4.

I'm actually a bit surprised you're still around--I'd assumed that you'd bought something long ago since this is an old thread and I hadn't noticed your more recent comments.

The Nexus 5 is another good choice, but I like having microSD, and have Verizon, so it's not for me. If it had been around when I was looking, I might be a T-Mobile customer by now! ;)

+3 on DoubleTwist.

Using their desktop software you can sync your android devices exactly like any ipod or iphone using your existing Itunes library and playlists.

Love your music. For Android, Mac & Windows - doubleTwist

If you are not particularly concerned about data usage Google Music will allow you to stream your music collection once the music client scans and uploads your collection.

Keep in mind it's meant to be a streaming service, if you find yourself in frequent situations where data is flaky or non-existence than you are better off with a device storage solution like DoubleTwist.
