Yeah i gave it a few days run... The Sense 5 features of the One really make the phone what it is. You take those away and it's just another android phone.
I'm back on the near Stock Viper Rom now.

viper rom is on my list as well. im actually still 100% stock,since i kind of like the a couple of the t mobile proprietary apps i have run viper on other devices,and it was top notch- im sure it will be good on the one aslo.

mikes ARHD roms are also rock solid- good choice for someone wanting a stock experience with no bloat and/or wanting to get their feet wet in rom flashing

I'm pretty familiar with CM10.1 (ran it on my EVO 4G LTE)...but I can't find what I'm looking for for the life of me.

IIRC, we had 7 home screens before...I'm stuck on 5. How do I get to 7?

Also, how do I edit the lock screen shortcuts? I can't find it in display?

The display menu in settings is missing a LOT of stuff I thought I'd see...

Cyanogenmod and google edition are completely different. This is the Stock Google version of the HTC One.
To add to the lock screen simply swipe left to right on the first screen you see a blank screen with a + ... click the plus to add a widget. Swiping right to left will open the camera.

It's not like any other OS but it does resemble CM.

I don't think I need to go full GE to fix that? I'm just missing something. For example, on CM10.1 I had FB, then Instagram, then Snapchat, then Google Search, and Unlock...you know?

What you describe is a PIE Control lockscreen. You don't have that on the Google Edition. (none that I found anyway) What you do have are lock screen widgets. Again you can't really compare CM 10 to GE their totally different.

I actually found the stock Google Edition Rom to have really crappy battery life. I use SinLessROM instead and got off work from an 8 hour shift with 65% battery.

the early dumps of the GE did not include the Stock kernel and a guy made one that worked .. but the battery life was not good at all. This was fixed when we got the complete dump along with the kernel. If you try any of the one's i posted above your battery life will be fine.

their all based from the same 2 dumps

-Bigxie for base
-Dstroy12 for dump
-Tbalden for 4.2.2 Kernel

the newest ones using the stock kernel give the best battery but you loose features like vol2wake and 3 dot menu removal

I think Mike1986 has the most up to date version of the google edition rom right now.
