My phone keeps saying there is not enough space to update apps. I've removed a lot of apps and even moved all apps to the SD card. Is there a way to do a clean install/format the phone? My phone is unlocked, and I am using the stock touchwiz. Have never rooted the device before. I have however pressed the power+home button+volume button to reset the phone few times but that did not really solved the problem.

Make sure that you back up what you need, and make sure that you know your Google login info. If you follow these steps, you will have a completely clean phone.

-Go to settings --> storage
-Scroll to the bottom and select "Format SD card"
-Click the "Format SD card" button on the next page and allow the process to finish

-Go to settings --> Back up and reset --> Factory data reset
-check the box at the bottom that says "Format USB storage"
-Hit the "Reset device" button

My app settings/game saves will be wiped out in the process right?

Can I ask which model of Samsung Galaxy S2 you have?

To check your model number... Settings > About phone > Model number
