~This is a stock backup with NO trace of ROOT in the SYSTEM!!!
(Does NOT install stock recovery)


Rom Base:
System: B131 (4.0.4)
Kernel: Stock

Download Links:
CWM_Stock_Backup_b131 - Stock Rom Backup meant to be extracted and used in restore menu
Stock_Cust_Flasher - installs all metro apps and carrier files (NEEDED) flash as a rom.zip

Installation Proccess: VERY IMPORTANT
-Download the 2 files

-EXTRACT THE ROM ZIP ONLY
(so now you should have a folder named "clockworkmod" NOT A ZIP

-Now copy the "clockworkmod" folder and "Stock_Cust_Flasher.zip" to EXTERNAL SD card

-Boot to recovery mode

-WIPE DATA!!!

-Select retore/backup menu, then select "Restore from external SD"

-Now selct the backup file and begin restoring,

-Once finished restoring go back to main menu of recovery

-Now your going to FLASH the "Stock_Cust_Flasher.zip" as you would any normal rom

-Once finished reboot the device 7 times!!!
(haha just kidding, want to make sure your paying attention though!!!)

-Now enjoy your new/old/stock/bloated rom

umm..thats not stated anywhere in the thread..this still has the cwm recovery.img in it still..so no..no stock recovery.

no. if you want stock recovery..unzip it from here and never be sorry for asking.

anyways..Props drifta..i knew yould get this out to everyone.

haha no prob, and no the stock recovery is not included.. there is just no superuser.apk or "su" & "busybox" so basically all you need to do is re-install stock recovery and metro will never kno

lol unless you get a guy that says he's an expert with the phone...just like the lg esteem "expert" who didnt know what test mode was and thought he could fix it with a factory reset. derp.

Ok when you said no trace of root I thought this would actually remove cust flasher and everything once you installed it. But I guess your right I soft bricked my device once before recovery and replaced it at metros main location and the guy had no idea it was rooted even though it was debloated. I just told them that when my battery died and when I tried to turn it back on I would get an error not allowing me to use my phone... com.android something something has stopped working lol.

Go to the stock recovery thread and replace the recovery.img from the custom recovery with that and just rename it to recovery.img and run the script and it should work am I correct?

lol it's not possible to mess it up that way.. unless your flashing the wrong image file..

basically your doing exactly what you did to install the custom recovery,

the batch file uses a script to install it via adb, so in this script it looks for specific names IE: "recovery.img" to push to the peoper partition, so what YOU (the user) want to do is..

grab the STOCK recovey image file and rename it to exactly what the recovery image is names in the recovery install script, then place your stock renamed recovery image into the exact folder where the custom recovery image was (CWM), then you run the bat file, let it install recovery and BOOM!!! stock'd up

1. download the attached zip and unzip it
2. put your stock recovery.img in the unzipped folder, replacing the one already in there.
3. go into bootloader mode (power off phone, then hold volume - button and plug in usb cable from phone to computer) phone should be stuck at huawei logo.
4. run as administrator "Recovery.bat"
5. it will flash the recovery and reboot into recovery when done.

i know this works because this is what i used to get out of bootloop

I JUST DOWNLOADED DE BACKUP ARCHIVE AND ERRASER THE "CLOCKWORKMOD" FOLDER FROM MY PHONE AND PASTED THE NEW ONE YOU GAVE TO ME AND JUST WENT TO RESTORE AND IT RESTORED EVERYTING!!!
ALLSO THERE IS NOT THE STUPID METROPCS SIGHN AT POWERING THE PHONE XD IS VETER
