Boost Mobile RTR

For the past year I have been using pincheap to pay my monthly bill. I went to pay my bill today only to discover that pincheap no longer offers RTR for Boost. Anyone know of another website that offers Boost RTR?

Wow, the pay as you go rates listed there would break the bank for me. I would exceed what I pay for monthly service with just SMS texts alone. That is certainly no deal.

Their dead...well i mean they no longer do Boost. I do know if you pay over the phone you just pay sales tax and not the fed tax.

I guess they want to push everybody into auto pay...

That is a bit better. At my use level though, I am still better off at my monthly of 40 dollars...

Thanks! Hopefully this still works next month. I actually just paid my bill through the Boost website and had to pay tax. $42.40

Just want to mention that Boost mobile is taking down all the business that take payments and now only boost exclusive or authorized dealers will be able to take payments only. I'm an exclusive boost mobile dealer and used to work with a lot of companies who used to take boost mobile payments, the company who offers me better commission at the time was Eureka. but now I have to work now with only one terminal that is directly link with Boost Mobile.

I ended up doing what boost wanted...i signed up for auto boost...

I pay on the Boost web site, but I do not use auto boost. I just take the extra 30 seconds to type in the info while making the payment.

I just really don't like having anything being paid automatically, and prefer to keep control of what I am paying out for things.

True, when i was with Sprint i auto paid and it was almost always correct...

I honestly would like to know why they wanted to kill all of the outside minutes vendors? Virgin is not available either so it must be a Sprint thing. They just get funkier and funkier...a few years back they got a new CEO and he had their people make a list of customers who call "too" frequently with complaints and then cancelled their accounts... Seriously!

The upside if you go onto Sensorly.com and look at the different cellular companies network signal foot print, Sprint actually has a descent network. In my usage areas they are pretty close to MaBell (Verizon)...

Unless I am mistaken, any reference to 'MaBell' has historically been to the traditional landline phone company which turned into AT&T not Verizon.

Yep you are correct. I just used it as a "tong and cheek" reference to how large Verizon is. I remember Bell Telephone and the early stages of MCI and Sprint. Any way good for you, i did have to look it up.

Great article, I never actually knew the whole background.

I remember as a kid the whole thing going down. If I remember correctly, AT&T walked into court with a proposal for the monopoly breakup, surprising nearly everyone.

It was a big deal, the kind of thing that rarely happens. Most large companies falter when the market no longer needs them.

Cell phones and the Internet have made landlines all but obsolete. AT&T landline installers (a friend) have been facing layoffs for years.

I am sorry to hear it and am not surprised it is all data now a days. Maybe you friend can get into fiber splicing... Don't know much about AT&T, beyond the Long Lines System. I love old technology and i am always surprised what they did with the technology they had to work with.
