Root [Verizon] twrp vs cwm

Newb here. I did the one click root which gave me TWRP. All of the instructions to install roms use CWM instead. Should I ditch the TWRP and get CWM just for simplicity.

All of this is very overwhelming. Each source of information seems to leave me with more questions. When I read about ROMs I see things about kernels, when I read about kernels I see things about bootloaders, etc. I was just trying to root to CM10 because thats what my friend has and he gets much better battery life.

I prefer twrp. I'm running 2.5.0.0. I realize that when you're new to rooting,it can seem a bit overwhelming . . . Alot of terminology & tech stuff, etc. And when you search & read posts from the wealth of helpful people on these forums, you will get many opinions & preferences. I personally think that twrp is much simpler & user friendly, & will do anything that cwm will do, only more simply.

btw, I like TWRP too.

And don't hesitate to ask any question you have, no matter how small or how silly you may think it is. We've all been there my friend.

Quattro on using TWRP. It's a well thought-out recovery program; I'll never go back to CWM.

Sprint variant here, but definitely twrp for me.

Much more simpler and user friendly.
