I searched and really did not find what I was looking for. How can I transfer my contacts from my POS BlackBerry Storm to my soon to be here HTC Droid Incredible?

Dave

I'm in the same boat, I'm going to try and bluetooth it and see if that works...If that doesn't I have all my contacts on my gmail account and from what I understand the incredible will pick those up.

If you have your contacts already in Gmail, don't even bother trying to send them via BT. When you get your Incredible it will have you sign in when it first boots up. Sign in with your gmail account info and it will sync your contacts. You can even tell it which contact groups to sync.

Agree with the above. When I moved from my Storm to my Droid Eris, I installed Google Sync on the Storm and then synced contacts with my Gmail account, even though I don't really use Gmail much (I'm a Yahoo user). If you don't have a Gmail account, you can just create one for the time being. Once you get your Android-based phone, just enter your Gmail address and Android will harvest those contacts. Once your contacts are imported to your new phone via Gmail, they are accessible to whatever other email accounts you set up on your Android phone.

One tip: if you haven't used Google Sync before and you DO have a Google Calendar account that you use regularly, do NOT allow Google Sync on your Blackberry to sync with your calendar. Only allow it to sync with your contacts. There are some known issues with Google Sync and Blackberry, wherein some appointments may be lost upon syncing. Your Google Calendar will be synced via your Gmail address on your Android phone, so there is no need to take this risk.

GOOGLE SYNC from m.google.com works well for contacts.
if You wish to transfer Calendar your best bet is to Synchrinize the BLACKBERRY CALENDAr to OUTLOOK/Entourage, and install an application that's gonna sync the calendar to GMAIL by going to google.com/sync.
the nice thing about this application is that you can keep it forever and utlize your outlook, and a scheduled frequency will take place between outlook/entourage and your Incredible.
