Help Phone is glitchy and lagging after Dolphin browser update?!

Lags while scrolling, freezes often, especially if I get a text while using the browser.

It lags even when I *don't* use the browser. I know it's the browser's fault because before I downloaded the newest Dolphin update, in 10 months my phone had only froze once. Now, it does it all the time. It even freezes when I toggle the drop down menu. I've had to do a battery pull several times, as well.

This nonsense has taken me back the the hellish days of my Optimus M.

What do?

The first answer is to import all your current bookmarks to the native Chrome then rinse and repeat with the new load of Dolphin.

I got no clue on answer #2

I'd first try a full uninstall of Dolphin and a reload of the same newest version. You can't be any worse off than you are now.

I take it you mean Chrome on a computer? Because I keep going in circles trying to figure out how to do it on my phone.

I meant on your phone. (But could be on your PC too IF)

You have them synched to your Google account.

I just Googled it and it says you should have another option in Chrome after Menu-Bookmarks-Mobile Bookmarks, it should say import bookmarks, doesn't on mine I guess because I have mine set up to sync.

Look and see if both your Chrome and Dolphin have the same bookmarks now and if so kill your current Dolphin (oh Flipperrr...) and reinstall.

[EDIT] In Dolphin it's Menu>Privacy and Personal data>Import bookmarks

Sometimes a cache and data clearing of the old version prior to updating will prevent those issues. Too late for that, but you can still uninstall the whole thing, reboot and reinstall. Sometimes just doing that will remedy issues.. along with frequent cache and data clearing.

I hate Dolphin. Sorry. Moved on to Boat long ago and never had an issue since. :)

With Dolphin in your settings you can customize what it clears when you close it. Cache, history and something else. And Or. I think all I clear is the cache.

The only problem I have with Dolphin is every now and then it crashes and I lose whatever tiles I had open when I last closed it. (I tend to keep the same 4-5 open most of the time even closed out of the browser.)
