With all of the recent developments to this phone, I thought it would be important to bring everything together so that people won't have to dig through a lot of different threads on this forum just to figure out what they need to do to their phones and how to do it.

As always, I am not responsible for any damage to your phone. Use at your own risk.

You'll need to...
- Have Boost Mobile. Be running Windows. Have USB Debugging turned ON. Uninstall (or not have) HTC Sync on the computer. Turn off fast boot in the power settings. Be fully charged (recommended).

- Download the files in this post to get adb and fastboot working.

- From this thread, download the fully functional CWM recovery. ***All credit goes to simonsimsons34 and jmztaylor for developing and fixing the recovery.

- From this thread on xda, download the universal naked drivers. ***All credit goes to 1wayjonny for developing the drivers.

- From this site, search for HTC One SV (k2_cl) Windows. Download the appropriate version of the program based on the phone's rom: Ice Cream Sandwich (rom version: 1.11.653.1) or Jelly Bean (rom version: 2.06.653.5). ***All credit goes to Moonshine.io for developing the software.

- From this thread, download the CWM Jelly Bean nandroid. Because of issues with the link, I have posted an alternative - the original nandroid provided, but on my dropbox. ***All credit goes to heloguy.

- Make the folder "android" in your C: drive, so that the path C:/android exists. Move everything (aside from the Jelly Bean CWM backup) that you downloaded (after extracting them from zips - if applicable) into this folder.
__________

1) Install the Universal Naked Drivers
"Warning: Uninstall any previous driver packages you may have installed and also manually remove drivers by attaching your phone and going to Windows device manager and right click the entry for your phone and select 'Uninstall' on the next prompt make sure to select 'Delete the driver software for this device' then hit OK and reboot before installing these drivers." - 1wayjonny

- On the computer, right click on android_apxusb.inf. Click on install. Do the same for android_winusb.inf. Congratulations! You just installed your drivers!
**Refer to the xda thread if you are running Windows 8.

2) Unlock the bootloader
- Go to HTCdev - Unlock Bootloader
- At the very top, click on the register button to create an account. Go back to the unlock bootloader page.
- On the right hand side, in the "Select Your Device" drop-down box, select "All Other Supported Models." Then click "Begin Unlock Bootloader."
- Follow the instructions and prompts to unlock the bootloader. **The files that they mentioned should have already been downloaded and placed in the path: C:/android.

3) Recovery: Part 1
- Boot the phone into fastboot. Plug it into the computer.
- Click on the start menu on your computer and type cmd. Press enter to open the program.
- In the command prompt, type cd /android. Press enter.
- Then type fastboot boot CWMrecovery.img. Press enter.
- Create a totally stock CWM backup. Keep this in a safe place! ***All credit goes to ODGeek for his in-depth explanation of the process.

- Restart the phone normally (e.g. boot to the lock screen) before attempting to S-Off.

4) S-Off
- On the computer, open the moonshine folder. Right click on distiller.exe and run it with administrative rights. Be patient. The process takes at least 5 minutes. **The phone should have been booted normally and plugged into the computer before attempting to S-Off.
- Please refer to this thread for an in-depth explanation and tips on how to install it. **As long as you downloaded the Jelly Bean version of the program, you do not need to be on Ice Cream Sandwich. ***All credit goes to wetbiker7 for the tips and directions.

5) Recovery: Part 2
- Boot the phone into fastboot. It should still be plug into the computer.
- Click on the start menu and type cmd. Press enter to open the program.
- In the command prompt, type cd /android. Press enter.
- Then type fastboot flash recovery CWMrecovery.img. Press enter.
- Wait for it to finish. Restart the phone normally.

6) "Restore" rooted Jelly Bean via CWM
- Place the 2013-07-19.01.57.24 backup into the clockworkmod/backup path in your external sd card. Go into CWM and restore the backup.

Voila! Your phone now has S-Off, CWM, and stock Jelly Bean with root!

Think I missed something or see a flaw in this guide? Tell me so I can update it! :)

Been waiting for this guide for the last several weeks. I have been away for awhile. I've have been rooted and Angry walrused ever since Shinru had released his much appreciated files. I've been reading a tons of development so I have been up to date but haven't found the time to update anything. So I really appreciate a guide like this one in which provides everything that's been happening as of late, all together. Thank you and all the devs and contributors for all the hard work, time and effort that goes into making any rooted device a pleasure to modify and own. Thanks from New York.

Peace, Love and Hair grease...!

Boost 3g is really iffy right now. so I wanted to make sure I could get help from you if I needed it. LOL. Strangely enough, my phone and text is working fine now. That has been the problem for a while.
