Root [International] Question about cyanogenmod for s3

I want to know how much ram does this ROM use is it better than the original one that comes with the phone and is it good on the battery how much ram does it use

In general, AOSP ROM's (such as cyanogenmod) use less RAM idle then ROMs such as touchwiz (what your phone came with) and sense (which HTC phones come with).

However, something to remember is that RAM is rarely an issue. Android functions well when the RAM is almost full because it means that it has many things cached for quick access. The only time you need to worry about how much RAM your UI uses is if you are having issues multitasking effectively.

And as for storage, i think CM uses about the same as TW
PS can i just throw in a recommendation.. illusion rom for gt-i9300 (and the US variants). It has all the best bits of CM, AOKP, PA etc but still manages to be smaller than CM somehow :thumbup:

AOSP uses way less of your internal storage than touchwiz.

You likely just wont notice, because x amount is reserved for the system anyway, and not user apps.

Id just been chatting about rom sizes and a dude was sayin TW is only bout 150mb, around the same as CM. Yeah the partition is like 3gb or sumthin eh?

If you open up titanium, it'll show you how much of your system partition is taken up.

Yeah im at like 1.6gb with illusion (including gapps) but theres plenty of extra space there

Me personaly, i recommend illusion mate. Wifi tethering is broken on CM and illusion has a lot more options :thumbup:

its like panorama shot but its better
and should i flash this rom with odin or what bec. i am new to android

That sounds like photosphere, and that's a stock android feature, so any ROM on 4.2 should have it
