Help help. My phone is stuck in its case.

LMAO i was trying to not laugh and then a MODERATOR makes it more funny!!! :p

Sorry Tiffany but it is pretty funny to sad nerds like us. is it a one-piece case?

And anyway LilBit, if it cools down, the case will also shrink... we need to know what the phone body material is AND what the case is made of

Tiffany, were not laughing AT you!!! ;) We will help you get this problem solved. K? It will be funny to you later though. ;) Try my cool down method,:)

DONT try LilBits semi-logikal crap lol :p have you ever taken it off before?
I recently got an excellent UAG case and part of what i love about it is it fits so tight. My technique is to start at a bottom corner (opposite end from where the battery cover comes off.
It all depends what typa case it is though. If its a two piece one, take the outer part off first

My phone stuck it it's cell case and I cant get it out. What do I do??

I don't see anything in the thread describing the type of case. If it's a silicone style of tight case, then it can be worked out gradually by massaging along the sides, back and front.. take your time, it'll come partially out after a while of doing that.

If it's a hard two piece you can push through the camera orifice until it pops out, carefully and slowly, but steadily (you don't want to damage the lens). Use a soft cloth on your finger or thumb, or a soft clean glove.

On the same idea as sticking it in the fridge (I'd use the freezer, actually), you could also try gently warming it with a hair dryer. Differing rates of expansion among different materials respond differently, making it hard to guess whether cooling or heating will do the trick, so it could go either way. Also, heating can make materials (like the case) softer and make adhesives (even inadvertent ones like a dried drink spill) release their grip. Be careful not to damage anything!

Another option, if you get desperate, would be to shave/carve the case off gradually with a sharp razor knife or file/sand it off.

I definately condone the heating more than the freezing so the heat can be directed at the case itself but i think carving it off would be far more therapeutic. I remember bad girls painted my nails and since i didnt know about nail varnish remover and bleach failed.. i spent some wonderful hours scraping it off with a carpet knife.. ahh nostalgia.
Do you have a dog? A dog would probably be glad to help!
