Hi all,

I've been messing around looking for a sweet bootanimations and I've found a few that I really like.

The 1st is taken from the Fascinate and is called Helix. It's probably one of the best boot animations I've ever seen.

Download:
Helix.zip

The 2nd is one that O_splatterhand made. It is a bios animation and is the one I'm running right now. He did a great job making it so please head over to his thread and thank him.

O_splatterhand's original thread with download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2174801

NOTE: If you plan on keeping your original bootanimation, you will want to cut and paste it to your sd card 1st. If not, rename the file before moving and it will overwrite your existing bootanimation. ;)

Install:
Download file and place on sd card.
Move file to system/customize/resource.
Rename to boost_bootanimation.zip (rename file by long pressing the file and selecting RENAME).
Reboot
Profit!

IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THEIR BOOT ANIMATIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE THE HERE.

THANKS. :D

I had the bios one already, which is awesome, but thanks for sharing the helix. It's my new boot animation. :)

You're welcome. I'll continue to hunt down cool boot animations and post them here.

If anyone else has or finds some nice boot animations, please feel free to post them here. I will add this to the OP.

i removed boost_bootanimation.zip from customize/resource. i rename new file and send to the same place. my phone boot up is normal except now the htc screen has the red text from the cwm recovery htc screen

Is your phone playing the bootanimation that you installed?

Also, are you S-Off yet? If not, that may be the reason you are seeing the red text on the white HTC screen.

If it's the text I'm thinking it is and says that it's a test device or something of that nature then it's cool. It's not causing any harm.

I have had the red text show on the HTC white boot screen in the past. I no longer see it though.
