Hi everyone I just bought a samsung galaxy s4 a few days ago and i find that whenever l play games, the game would freeze and an ad would pop up. This happens once every few seconds or so. I tried uninstalling the app to try other games but the ads are still there, I also tried turning off the internet connection but it still doesn't work

I'm still new about android products as this is my first android phone so sorry if this has been asked a lot before or if it turns out to be a very simple problem

Most free games will use ads, especially the mainstream and popular ones. Most will tell you it is ad free.. so if it doesn't say that it will have ads of some sort.

As far as I know the only way to ultimately remove the ads from ad supported games is to Root. Sorry. :(

Perhaps you should get an antivirus app such as Lookout, Dr. Web lite, or my personal favorite MobileCare.

They will not stop the ads but they will show you the ones that have adware in them. Keep in mind if an app is free and it's designed that way it will not pick it up unless its MobileCare, but its a little advanced for a beginner with android.

If there is a way outside of Root perhaps somebody will come along and tell us, I've never looked for a "solution" for it since ads don't bother me all that much. :p

Just checked, and based on what the reviews say these adblockers doesn't seem to work

It probably does its just most people don't read it and act like "wat da heck d00d it is a broke!?" Even though it will clearly say its Root only.

That's a thing you'll learn about Android, make sure an app you want isn't Root unless you decide to Root, then it won't matter either way.

I'm not really sure about rooting my phone, I just read a bit about rooting and it seems kinda risky, plus I just bought this phone very recently

Rooting isn't for everyone, but for me the benefits far outweigh the risks.

The important thing is to do your research before hand, ask questions, and be sure of what you need to do before beginning.

Everything in the root world is device specific, so make sure the instructions you are reading are for your device
