Root [T-Mobile] can i flash stock kernel with darth stalker?

What exactly are you trying to do? For Triangle Away to work, you have to be on the stock rom and stock recovery. Triangle away just fixes things to say official instead of custom. You can read instructions here.

You can find stock kernels here.

well i want to be rooted debloated n deodexed if possible yet maintain an official status and a stock kernel because its required for the allshare dongle. it was actually working perfectly until i did an odin flash

Not to jump in or be rude but I got my phone last week what update are you guys talking about?

If you got yours last week it probably already has the update. Check settings > more > about device. The baseband version should be UVUAMDL. When the phone first came out it was MDB and there was a MDL update not long after. It locked down the kernel and made it slightly harder to root.

okay so to get this straight the steps would be as follows:
1- flash darth stalker rom
2- flash stock kernel (lose root)
3- root through odin
4- flash twrp through odin again
5- use triangle away to get back to official

sound about right?

No, if you want everything official you will have to have stock rom and recovery. Triangle Away doesn't work with custom roms and recoveries. You might not need everything 'official' to get your dongle to work.

You can install TWRP with either Odin or download GooManager from the play store and install with it.

You might consider using Odin to flash the stock mdl rom to go back to all stock and then cf-auto-root and then check if your dongle is working before you load a recovery.

If you can find it. You can search XDA. I don't remember seeing one. You can Odin cf-auto-root and it installs stock recovery. Are you still rooted? Are you sure the dongle works on a rooted phone?

ill look for it. ya i bought this phone rooted and the dongle worked flawlessly but then installed twrp and flashed darthstalker, with darthstalker the triangle away worked however the kernel was custom so the dongle didnt work. i flashed the stock kernel using mobile odin and that soft bricked the phone got it stuck on s4 boot logo. so i went through odin back to stock and then rooted through twrp so now triangle away doesnt work and the dongle still doesnt work

If its still not working. Odin back to stock, make sure the dongle works. Odin CF-Auto-Root, make sure dongle works. Install a recovery, make sure dongle works. If you still want to run Darthstalker, you can try version 2. I think it had the stock kernel, or try one of the stock debloated roms or just debloat it yourself. :)
