Root [T-Mobile] can i flash stock kernel with darth stalker?

can i flash the stock kernel? if not what roms will accept the stock kernel? the main reason i need this is because my allshare dongle only works with stock kernel and triangle away kinda annoying

so i just realized that i cant use triangle away, its not working im on the stock kernel for the new update which removes the restriction

What exactly are you trying to do? For Triangle Away to work, you have to be on the stock rom and stock recovery. Triangle away just fixes things to say official instead of custom. You can read instructions here.

well i want to be rooted debloated n deodexed if possible yet maintain an official status and a stock kernel because its required for the allshare dongle. it was actually working perfectly until i did an odin flash

If you flash the stock kernel, if its the real stock kernel, I'm not sure you'll be rooted anymore. If not, you can Odin CF-Auto-Root.

Yes, it works on the MDL update. It installs the stock recovery too so you would have to install another recovery if you want to flash roms.

If you got yours last week it probably already has the update. Check settings > more > about device. The baseband version should be UVUAMDL. When the phone first came out it was MDB and there was a MDL update not long after. It locked down the kernel and made it slightly harder to root.

If you can find it. You can search XDA. I don't remember seeing one. You can Odin cf-auto-root and it installs stock recovery. Are you still rooted? Are you sure the dongle works on a rooted phone?

ill look for it. ya i bought this phone rooted and the dongle worked flawlessly but then installed twrp and flashed darthstalker, with darthstalker the triangle away worked however the kernel was custom so the dongle didnt work. i flashed the stock kernel using mobile odin and that soft bricked the phone got it stuck on s4 boot logo. so i went through odin back to stock and then rooted through twrp so now triangle away doesnt work and the dongle still doesnt work

what are some stock debloated roms?

so it worked with the following steps:
odin to stock
flash twrp
flash kernel to root
flash root
flash stock kernel
use mobile odin to flash stock recovery
use triangle away
and now u have a fully stock rooted s4 that works with the dongle
