If you havent seen this..its pretty useful when used in conjunction with nandroid manager
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.h3r3t1c.onnandbup&hl=en

pretty much an easier way to make nandroid backups with the correct date and time format
The premia 4g is on the list of supported downloads. To use it, you need to flash the attached zip at the bottom in recovery, then reboot and start backing up

In nandroid manager, you can flash zips if you have them in /data/shared also you get an option to flash a new recovery, but i havent tested if that works.

Havent been able to get it to work so far, but im running the Stock+ rom. Flashed the zip, tried all the apps suggestions (use default shell, try a different busybox etc) but it completes in a few seconds and gives me an empty backup.
Those who have used to successfully on various custom made roms, did you have to do anything else special? Or could it be an issue with stock+ using the external sd as default storage? Not a big deal, but this would be quite convenient.

ive used it on stock+ and its worked for me. ive recently just deleted it and havent put it back on yet, but you should just be able to do a quick buckaup to the extsdcard....and it takes at least 5 minutes

*edit, and all my roms use extsd as default storage

Weird. I must have done something to my phone it doesnt like. Well..one of these days ill do a full backup, flash stock+ fresh and see. I better slow my roll till we have a reliable unbrick guide.
when you first open the app (after you flashed the tool) youll have a list of settings, one of them is default save location. choose external. you have to uninstall and reinstall the app if youre not comfortable with reappling scripts
