HTC One

Apparently at Verizon "One" is the loneliest number. Their love fest with Motorola is ridiculous.

I know what you mean. I gave up HTC out of frustration with Sense a long time ago. Now I feel differently about it and await the One.

Samsung seems to be equally as touted at Verizon as Motorola, though. Haven't counted 'em up, but there are a lot of Samsung products there.

I also can't stand seeing iPads in the Verizon stores.. but that's just me. :D

talked to Verizon yesterday about it, and the only info i got was that
A- rumored for Aug 1
B- A case for the HTC One from Verizon begins sales on Aug 1
C- It is guaranteed by the end of the summer (sept 21)

Also all the news/ rumors suggest either Aug 1 or Sept 5.

Just a summation of all the facts i know of

Well, we've all seen the "leaked" Verizon roadmap:

you know what i just realized, is that the roadmap is pretty much BS because we hve not seen the LG exalt yet, and it lacks all info of the new droids... also if they are going to sell the one on the 1st, they are not putting any prep time into it... unless they are just going to unveil it then, and sell it on say sept 5th?

Are we sure they meant summer of this year.

LOL! I suspect they may push back the launch date for the One because they'll want to hype the latest "Droids" for a bit, but that's just from past experience. Maybe they're going to start becoming more customer focused now and release it sooner? In the meantime, unless it's coming from Samsung, Motorola, or Apple I wouldn't worry about hearing about it from Verizon directly. Check the forums and Android news sites as a Verizon version of the One will probably get more press there. :dalek:

True. I have been checking the other sites for updated sighting news without any luck. Everything now seems to be speculation.

While reviewing documents at work, I was researching the HTC One for a friend. I was unable to find any information whatsoever on the phone itself.

However, What I did find is a Case/Holster for the HTC One that's scheduled to be launched on 8/1/13

You can put two and two together :)

Source: Vzw Employee.

Well, I guess we'll know soon enough, since 8/1 is tomorrow :)

Keeping fingers crossed!! (but, not holding my breath)

I see they stopped letting you use unlike device upgrades for unlike new devices.

Before I could move my Xoom tablet upgrade over, and use it as a available upgrade for my next new smartphone, but, I guess now, only tablets can upgrade to tablets, and only smartphones can upgrade to smartphones.

My question is, will I be able to use my Xoom eligible upgrade on the HTC-One-Max(a Phablet), or is that still too different??

I'm pretty sure phablets fall under the phone branch, as they still get voice service. That's the differentiator for vzw.
