Root An updated Google Now port?

I noticed that the Google Now used on our Spirits is an out dated version. Could anyone get the newer versions or find a way for us to always be able to update?

From what i remember the updated version is for JellyBean. but i could be wrong.

I've been looking for awhile and haven't found much. I actually use the googlenowremover.zip because I dont like the old version. If you run CM10 on your Spirit it will be the newest version. Search "gnow for ICS" on XDA for more info

Yeah its for JB only. The one we use for ICS is a port so it can not be updated. Usually the version you get with a port is the version you're stuck with. Its because once you port an app it is no longer signed through the Play Store
