Goodbye GS3 Forums...You've been great.

I am going to be trading my GS3 for a RAZR MAXX HD today. I started my smartphone journey with the Droid X>Droid X2>Droid 3>Droid RAZR>Droid RAZR MAXX...Then I went to Samsung. While it was a fresh change, I think I like Moto better than Sammy. Hope I'm making the right choice. I've always got my upgrade available in case I want the new MAXX or the GS4 or the HTC One.

What are your thoughts on this? On my decision?

I love the people on here and you will all be missed.

The Moto X phone was announced yesterday. Have you considered that one since you seem to like Motorola so much?

My experience with Android phones was with HTC an Samsung only. I find that these are about the same. I like certain aspects of Sense and TW. What I like most about Sense is the widgets. I think HTC really nailed it with widgets. No one else came close. I use Android Pro Widgets as substitutes and they are adequate, but not as good.

Most people tend to fall into a niche for a manufacturer because it's comfortable to them and they like it. Some people may be adventurous and try other things, but most like to stick with what they like. It seems you like Motorola's and based on that fact alone, you'll probably like the Maxx HD. It may be worth it to hold out another couple of weeks to check out the new Droid Maxx or Moto X phone since they'll be newer. No matter which way you go, I have a feeling you'll like it.

I was thinking about going for the moto x or the new maxx. But I will wait and see I will enjoy the MAXX HD for now.

My wife has the Droid HD and I have the S3. I like the Droid feels good in the hand and looks good and runs good. You really can't go wrong with either......unless you are into custom rom stuff.
