Why are you guys even still worrying about Android?
Everyone who's anyone knows that iPhone is still the King.
And once multi-tasking comes out in iPhone OS 4.0, Android won't have anything over Apple.
Android is soon to be even more dead in the water than it already is.

You do realize that android phones provide more flexiblility, there isnt just one phone, and there is a reason why Samsung, Sony Ericcson, HTC, Motorola, ETC are making android phones, the multitasking is something that has been on android for a while, and the openness of the android market is what makes android more appealing to customers, i got an ipod touch when i was 16 and i know how apple is trying to get young people with ipod touches to switch to an iphone... But, i love my ipod touch for music, and some of the apps, but not as a phone. I prefer android to apple....

I've been waiting for 2.1 for my Hero for so long that honestly I couldn't care less about 2.2. 2.1 has been moved forrward in time again, so I suppose when the time for Hero to get 2.2 will come I'll probably be three/four contracts away from the grim memories of having one (Hero)...

Don't get me wrong, the phone's decent though bit dated and since most of us Hero owners are stuck with 1.5 it not obly lags every now and then but most importantly there's no proper multi-touch support and Wi-Fi... Don't get me started on this one. I had to get an external app so that it would keep connected and not disconnect in the middle of me using it...

2.2? 2.1? So far I don't belive that I'll ever have anything over 1.5...

I hear the FM radio won't work on Droid due to hardware limitations (such as, lack of an FM antenna connection).

Looking forward to Flash. Will this mean I can watch Hulu on my Droid?

Sadly, no, atm. Hulu has intentionally blocked mobile use of their features. You get about 3 seconds, then fail. I believe it is because Hulu is working on an App for Android. So, eventually, we will be able to watch Hulu. But for now, no phone DOES.

I thought hulu used silverlight?
"Hulu videos are currently offered only to users in the United States.[4] In order to ensure that no international users outside the US have access to the videos, Hulu blocks many anonymous proxies and virtual private networks. Hulu provides video in Flash Video format, including many films and shows that are available in 360p and 480p."

I got that from wikipedia. So far, I see nothing about Silverlight, but their reason is right in the quote. Well, hopefully, we'll have a Hulu app very soon...
