Root New Update/#2 (Solved)

My phone stopped working, it had data but no calls would go through. I went to a metropcs store about it and they said I needed to update the network in order for it to work. I have a ZVD version of Number 2 which I flashed a while ago and the store couldn't update my phone because of it. Is there a work around?

Hello and welcome to the forums . I have to start with you have some big ballz . First i have to warn you cause u may have voided your warranty for ever in the future cause u taken a rooted device to a metro store and they may have most likely made a mark on your account . IN THE FUTURE NEVER TAKE A ROOTED DEVICE TO THE PHONE STORE. now what he said is true . But u can do this at home and repair

I feel like such a newbie I'm so sorry. So I read the forums and basically did everything that I was supposed to. Now my phone is working with an updated kernel and root. I'm getting faster speeds as well!

Hopefully I didn't void my warranty I was really concerned. I thought it was a connection issue.

did you buy the extra warranty the day of purchase,if so,u will be fine,i did,knowing that somewhere down the road ill need it,and ive been threw 3 phones with asurion,they pretty cool,when it comes to returns but you have to pay like 90? bucks forreplacement.i once couldnt get my fone on to get bk to stock and i had to send it bk to them or theyll charge you,lets just say ,i dont think they would of been to get to the os to see i was rooted lol
