Does anyone know how to get the watchon remote in the notification bar?

How do you turn it off??

I just recently came over to the S4 from the LTEvo and am trying to figure out all the different ways Samsung does things differently than HTC in regards to app management.

One of the things I am trying to figure out is how to shut this app off. It's a nice app to have if your remote breaks or goes missing but after playing around with it for a bit I most likely won't be needing it again in the near future but when I went to shut it off I couldn't find a way to do so. Of course I realize I could just uninstall the app but I'd prefer to figure out how to just shut it off. There has to be a way to do that, right?

I can go into app manager and force close it and it appears to be off but when I drag down to view the notifications it automatically restarts. Is the only way to stop this to uninstall it all together? If so, why would they design it that way?

Is this how I can expect alot of Samsung apps to work? One thing HTC did that I liked is they made it really easy to manage apps. I've only had my S4 a few days but so far it seems as though Samsung doesn't do as good a job as HTC in this regard.

By all means set me straight if I'm incorrect.

check out https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.greenify to keep apps from running when u dont want them to. i dont have Watchon installed so i cant find out if greenify works on it.

i initially bought this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy thinking i could use ir on a AOSP rom(which it doesnt)
but the nice thing is it doesnt run in the foreground like Watchon

If you uncheck the song to show the icon in the notification panel and then use the back button to exit the app, it will be closed till you open it again.

What song? This is the remote control app I'm referring too. The app may do more than that but that's as far into it as I've gotten.

It's all good. lol I texted my gf last night that I was having a "busty night at work". Fast texting certainly has its pitfalls! ;-)

As for the advice, thank you, that was it. I'm not sure how I missed that in the settings. Problem solved.
