Keystone Pipeline

theres been talk of it today but no major reporting....... probably because nothing has changed

he basically said that exact same thing he always says to stall for time and keep from making a decision that would alienate either side

~we should have some frank an open discussion~
~we should appoint a panel to study this some more~
~we should view all our options~
~blah blah blah~

at this point hes not in the least bit concerned with anything that isnt a "legacy" policy

he has nothing to gain or lose by making a decision on the pipeline... setup another 5 year study and let the next guy worry about it...... either way it wont even be a footnote in his legacy

The breitbart site is a long discredited rightwing hate group.

Big Falsehoods: An updated guide to Andrew Breitbart's lies, smears, and distortions | Research | Media Matters for America

"Media across the board reject Breitbart's race-baiting lies. Media figures and outlets from across the board have rejected Breitbart's false claims against Sherrod. For example, NRO's Jonah Goldberg has said that Sherrod is "owed apologies from pretty much everyone, including my good friend Andrew Breitbart," CNN's Anderson Cooper said Sherrod's remarks "were taken out of context ... She was smeared by allegations of racism, lost her job, and is now being redeemed by the truth, it seems, the whole truth," and Fox News' Glenn Beck said Sherrod "deserves her job back." Moreover, NBC News' Chuck Todd, Mark Murray, Domenico Montanaro, and Ali Weinberg wrote in a July 21 post on First Read:
After conservative activist James O'Keefe pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for entering a federal building under false pretenses, you would have thought that all of us in the ACTUAL news business would have learned this lesson about Andrew Breitbart and his prot

not sticking up for breitbart... since I dont usually read any of their stuff..... but dont you find it ironic that you open your post by calling them a long discredited right wing hate group.... and support your statement with a link to an even more discredited extreme left wing extreme hate group?

You people sound like a bunch of Bloods and Crips arguing that each other are the ACTUAL band of thugs and that YOUR group is only trying to better the community. The GOP and the DNC are nothing more than the Bloods and Crips of D.C.

sorry for getting off subject but sometimes I just get fed up with the rhetoric

Good point this article supports your view, both the GOP & DNC are just wholly owned subsidiaries of the monied elite.

From what I read there's only one phase of the four phase project that has the most controversy because of its routing over the top of the Ogallala Aquifer in Nebraska.

Phase 1 has been in operation since 2010 and Phase 2 has been in operation since 2011.

One big problem with the project is that the independent environmental study was not independent in that the authors previous contract work for TransCanada and other oil companies (Koch Industries) with an economic interest in the project were not reported.

Another problem is that TransCanada (A Canadian corporation) has 34 eminent domain actions against landowners in Texas and 22 in South Dakota even though the route has not been approved.

Another note NASA scientist James Hansen is quoted as the pipeline would be "game over for the planet".

Most of the above was derived from Keystone Pipeline - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

is that the same Hansen who has had every single one of his claims and predictions proven wrong? just curious....... after all..... according to him the world already ended based on his scientific findings

Oh I'm sure you have data to back "Hansen who has had every single one of his claims and predictions proven wrong?

Perhaps a video from Breitbart or other criminal organizations such as Groundswell?

as I already mentioned in your other whine about breitbart .... I dont read it... but dont let facts get in the way of your good story

as for disproving hansen... the fact that youre alive to spread his fiction is proof that his claims are false.... no other supporting evidence needed

just because he has NASA associated with his name doesnt mean he knows anything of value

another note NASA scientist Dr Harrison H.Schmitt is quoted as saying "That

Good point... lol. I don't know if people just don't think about the things they post or if they are just quoting stuff they here from others so they can seem intellectual.

There's generally two types. Preachy university students who rant on about libertarianism or socialism, invariably complaining about how the government is oppressing them and their economic system was never really tried out. The other type is conspiracy theorists who believe they are being sold out to Muslim black gyspy women.
