Help Gmail dimmed

For reasons unknown the Gmail app on my S3 (Running Synergy 4.1.2) is much dimmer than any other app.

Explanation? Solution?

I'd re-install the Gapps however Synergy bundles that as part of their rom zip and I'm not sure which Gapps zip would be correct.

(BTW, anyone know when Synergy will release 4.2 for the S3? They've had the S4 rom for several weeks).

Been too long a day. No brain function left.
simply deleted the app and reinstalled from the Play store.
