Group Messaging

A friend of mine with an iPhone started group messaging me and another friend of mine. I didnt even know it was a group message till I got a text from the other person. I have searched Google about this and it seems that Google has not added any support for group messaging at all into their stock app. Does anyome know if there is an app that will automatically group incoming texts? I can make a group outgoing text, but all recipients receive it as a single text that isn't grouped, and when I get replies, it still goes into a single message thread alone. This is the most basic feature for any phone. It surprises me that it's missing on all androids.

I've only tried Chomp and it does not group message any better than stock.

(This won't help you at all but I'm just throwing it out there, the Verizon Messaging app does work for group texting)

You should enable group messages to be seen as MMS, so that it will work as you describe.

Personally, I use GroupME for all group messaging functions.

What SMS app are you using?
