Google Glass to sell for $300!

Searching Google Plus, I came to this article about a rumor that when Google Glass launches, it will sell for $300 on the play store! If its at that price, I will get one (Maybe) as I will need one that fits my current glasses, or I may just ask my eye doctor about contacts, so I can switch to using Google Glass!! This is exciting news for me!!

You know, I wasn't really interested, but actually, that does sound kinda kewl

Actually, I haven't really taken much notice of what these glasses do - I kinda assumed it was show adverts depending on what you were looking at. Not sure I want to pay to get even ads fire hosed on me

It is definitely an intriguing price. If you could put prescription lenses in them, would be a good deal.

I don't think they display ads at all on the glasses.

Probably not any worse than the seemingly ubiquitous Bluetooth headsets, which always seem to have flashing blue lights in them.. "Resistance is futile."

AGREE I only want one pair of glasses. And that to be google glasses.

I still prefer the ReconJet glasses. it does everything Glass does but they still look like regular sunglasses. Glass lost me when i found out they would ban apps i'd actually use with them like Predator and Terminator HUD.

I remember the age of seemingly microscopic BlueTooth earpieces. i wasn't seeing as much Borg as i was people who appeared to be talking to themselves like a nut. if not for the flashing LED when they turned their head i'd have backed away...slowly. there is a battery tech who comes to work who has a more Borg-drone look, with the blinky lights on his shirt pocket (phone), belt (the thing you sign for receiving), and even a printer on his belt (also with two red/blue blinky lights). if anyone has ever seen Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide on Nickelodeon back in the day, that tech reminds me of the Cyborg kid with the 'printer pants'. i think he even had what appeared to be Glass



Well, it was a tiny HUD screen that flipped over regular glasses but hey it was the 1990s!

It stands out. Sure I'll look like an idiot to people, but they can't say they have Google glass
