in my recovery it says build: RA-supersonic-v2.3

wanting to flash jellybean and it recommends a different recovery, how do i switch recoveries? and if i switch them, the nandroids i have saved on my sd card and on my comp, will i be able to flash back to them if needed?

There are a number of JB roms out there to try and they will work a little differently on each phone. I've had good success with Strike and Dirty Unicorn (using it now), but they might preform differently for you. I've anyways tweeked the cpu speed up on my roms too specially the ICS and JB ones. There are couple of programs that work well for that such as Setcpu and No-frillsCPU.

Here are the links for the two roms I mentioned.

Just confirming that you wiped everything except the SD Card....DO NOT wipe the SD Card. It is probably to late now but always be sure you have a good Nandroid to go back too.

Edit: You will also need to have your card partitioned with ext4 for a2sd to work with that rom (this is per the rom installation instructions)

i wiped cache, dalvik and data. my sdcard was ext3. so im re-flashing now

1.copy your content of the card to a computer because partitioning will wipe the card's content.
2.go into recovery and select partition your sd card
3.enter 32 for swap, and 1024 or 2048 for ext2, and do the rest for FAT
4.select upgrade ext2 to ext3
5.select usb-ms toggle and transfer your contents of your card on your computer back to the card.
6.go to the main menu and do a full wipe (min data, dalvik cache and cache)
7.flash the superwipe
8.flash the rom of your choice.
9.reboot

I grabbed these instructions from Ocn's guide. You will upgrade ext 3 to ext 4 between steps 4 and 5.

Things will go better if you are using a larger than stock card. I can't remember if you changed yours.
