I see that a lot of phones are missing download speed . Is this a merger thing? My phone switched to prl 3035 by itself I called metro they said they were not throttling my account. I'm running Bob cm10. My phone was a beast now it sucks .1.5 MPs to 250kps any ideas? I have the 70.00 unlimited plan.

I'm running bobz cm10 both phones are very much alike except for screen size. Works fine!!!!! If you have prl3035 go back to 3032. Just did a speed test 1.6 MPs

umm nothing about the 2 phones are alike. CPU wise, Motion blows the Connect out of the water, stability on stock firmeware, Motion wins hands down, display.... Connect wins hands down without even being turned on. ;)

Yes I know I had the connect before the motion some of the stats are the same but the screen is bigger it only has a s3 1.2 motion has s4 the motion has better battery life .and it never got a ICS upgrade. But I'm glad I can talk to you pg. I have the 70.00 dollar plan I am running the bobz version. All of a sudden it got slow. I checked it out and with out me knowing it they changed my IP address and my Prl to 3035. I called metro they said my account was fine. So I remembered about the throttle fix it seems to work fine. Do you think its a t mobile thing? I tried a lot of things going back to stock and different prls nothing till I flashed the data throttle cap remover. Thanks for all your help you've helped me with a lot of phone's your right the motion is a beast with cm 10.

This does absolutely nothing to improve speed or remove throttle. I just flashed it, performing a speed test BEFORE and AFTER. My speeds actually went DOWN. Download speed went down by .7 Mbps and Upload speed dropped by 1.2 Mbps.

It doesn't work.

I've stated that time & time again about such mods. If one happened to see improvements it was a fluke. Throttling happens on the server end, not on the phone. ;)

Same here.. Im in tampa.. Where I was getting in daytime 7.mps and 12-16mps @@ nite.. N it has gone down.. I spoke with a friend of mine whom has a stor n i help him w/dev. Stuff.. He told me
That because the merge.. Their hav been wrking on channelizing towers so 3035prl it just a test.. Prl. Even lower prls are not wrking @ their should... So we are just stuck for a while... I hav tweaks several devices for him even nee inventory.. N they are all responding the same way. Only those who are close to towers are the ones getting better reception.. This is an info. From inside.

Tried a speed test after seeing this thread. And for once a MPCS upgrade actually did something useful. I used to get an average of 1500/500, I also noticed that I'm running on PRL 2035. It used to be 3028 or something like that, and I'm on the older $55 plan.

Were u using 2035 of Gs3? I hav the $45 plan..reasons cus i hav beenw/them since 04.. N family package.. And on 4g i used to run 7.8mps and up.. Up to 14.mps probably for my location.. So i call today before doing the joint prl frm above.. And they told me their are doing towers upgrades and soon software upgrades so.. Is really disturbing.. We all know.. It probably takes few more weeks even months until we see final results

This is for all that have had Problems with their data..
I went to metro today n Verified with them about software updates''Prl issues''reactivating phone''flashing modem''.
If u hav motion firmware F.. U are fine.
If u had Reactivated. U are fine.
Prl 2035 or 3035... U are fine
Like i said before those prls are test ones.
If u hav slow data speed in some areas n not in others u are fine.
If u hav unlimited plan ... U are fine.
Is not on our end' Is towers
Redirecting issues' the cust of our issues.
So we need to suck up this for a while. Until the hole merge issue is done. Sorry for the bad news.
P.s those close to proximity antennas. Are gona b the ones for better signal.
