Im having serious data issues on ALL 4 phones on my account. using speedtest.net, I'm clocking 244 kb download and about the same for uploads. Sprint is taking their sweet time on this as my initial call was 3 weeks ago. two of my devices are rooted, two are not. if/can i change the prl will it allow me to roam to other networks like verizon and att?

sprint wont let me out of my contract even though this has been going on for the past month and a half. i will be going on vacation friday and ill be in an area that sprint royally sucks in. i figure with my current situation, ill be dead in the water on vacation unless i do something. im also hoping they'll kick me off for roaming too much.... ;)

thanks in advance!

Man, that sucks Mike. Big bummer. :(

When we had the OG evo, we did have flashable PRL files from Verizon. I haven't seen anything like this for the LTEvo.

There have been a few members who were booted by sprint for excessive roaming.

They're probably upgrading the towers in your area, and usually it gets worse before it gets better. Then all of the sudden you've got 4G service and it's great. :)

I'll read through all that today. I just need to figure whether or not I can write a different prl. I did it to my note 2. My evo is on an aosp ROM right now and msl reader and ##3282# isn't working. I guess I'll flash a sense rom and try again. My note is now doing way better. My note had prl 2001 which is supposedly a temporary prl. Maybe I'll get lucky and roam for 300+ mb. ;)

i should mention that i have not been able to make the prl stick. i flashed the omj mod then tried the ##778# thing then msl, then select prl, then commit. after reboot, it still says 24015.

i havent had the coconuts to try with the port stuff. let me know if either works for you. im about to leave sprint. fred flintstone probably had better data than i do now........
