Root lil help plz!!!!

ok i just got bk my nexus 7 wifi 32gb 4.3version model 7 build number jwr66v from asus ,cracked screen,fixed for free,but my prob is before i had no prob using wugs root kit,my comp found the nexus,but after the whole getting to dev mode it wont load drivers,but my nexus shows up as media player or look at files,i cannt get the drivers right,or find a build for rooting,if anyone can help,id apprieciate it very much ty!!!!!! sorry 4 bad grammar lol,jus tryin to hurry before i leave out of town tonight.

Hey there,

If your tablet has 4.3 on it and you are using the toolkit, I would suggest updating the toolkit to the latest version before attempting to unlock and root.

ive updated it,and still same,no serial numbers show up,ive nt even found anything close to the build number,how can i undo the 4.3 update to see if things change then?

Uninstall/reinstall drivers via WUGs, then try rooting.

sorry i didnt post earlier but i got it rooted and flashe and all the other goodies that goes along with it ,and tetherting,i was rushed to er friday afternoon,i was having a heartattack,i had 95% blockage in my artery ,they put a stint in me,and today i was released,so ,so far so good,just need to change some of my habits,smoking,sodium and all,by the way im only 37,so plz guys if u feel any chest pains even if its gas ,go to er its nt a joke!!!!!

Glad you pulled thru. My brother-in-law went thru that 2 years ago and he's doing well.

i live for seeing something pop up on this forum to make the nexus get better and better,and all the cool things the guys come up with for the lg esteem too. lol i get what your saying,just need to make afew changes,couple of batt apps and some mods,reboots and that should get my body back to close as new as i will get lol thanks colchiro !!!!!
