that is operated problems Im sure. Most problems do come from us old iPhone users to Android. Gets a bit frustrating to the point of sitting here just about 8 hours and still not the right results.

1. Instant messaging. I use Nova Pro as my launcher. I try to make a certain ring tone and message alert for my husband.
Everyone gets the same tone. Why.

2. I try changing the tone for say, Jenny on messages, she gets my husbands ring tone.
Why.

3. I try to send pictures through ams that were in my gallery?
They do not get sent. and I don't' get an alert message not sent so I didn't know the person did not get the message.

4. Why won't it stay on Nova settings?

5. How do I get rid of photos that it chose to get from my old and i mean 6 year old picasa and put them on my new phone and guess what? I can't get them off the phone? WTH!!!!

Yes, I already regret giving up my iPhone At least I could go in the apple store, brick and mortar and get help. Where can you go for Samsung and talk to people not androids?

Hi I can try to help with a couple of your questions.

3. Sometimes pictures in the gallery won't send via MMS (Verizon) if the phone is on Wifi and not data. I noticed that and so switch off Wifi when sending pics and they go through immediately. Interesting that the iphone and other phone in the house doesn't have the same problem.

5. I had that happen when I bought a Galaxy Note 10.1. Sign into Picassa using your google password and you will be able to delete the unwanted pics, which will also in-turn delete them from your phone gallery.

My Verizon corporate store offers weekend classes on both the androids and the iphones. It shows the classes the store is having when I sign into my MyVerizon. I took the class when I switched to android and it was a big help.

but i have an at&t Phone. i can go into version and get a class on the phone which may run a bit different? Is it really that much different at all?

I will have to download those photos to my iPhoto and then sync the computer to get them off is that correct?

Cnet has a manual on the S4, and that is free to Amazon Prime members who own Kindles (lending library). It's about $4 otherwise.

I don't think it offers advice on specific apps, though, which is what you seem to need.

I have that Cnet kindle app but I don't think it's going to help when I have another installer I'm using. i.e. Nova

2) See #1.

3) Odd. Try changing the default launcher back to TouchWiz and see if the issue is still there.

4) Why doesn't what stay?

5) Gallery -> Menu -> Content to display -> Uncheck Picasa

The class should still benefit you.

Picassa is the culprit for the photos. As Darnell said, go to menu in the gallery and uncheck picassa. On mine, I still had to sign into Picassa first and delete from there...but like you noted, I'm on Verizon.

YOU SAY TO go to the menu in the gallery. that means.
1. open gallery
2. click the menu button on the left hand corner.
3. there is no option to uncheck picassa there.

I wanted to get rid of that big red boy advertisement from Samsung and get the cube rotation on my phone. I thought i had to have that launcher to get more customization. make it MY phone instead of an out of box phone.

I think you maybe should have experimented a bit more with the features of Android. It is very customizable. I don't remember what big red boy advertisement you're talking about, but I don't think my phone has anything any of the home screens that was there when I bought it, except the Google search box and the play store icon.

For most things you put your finger on it, wait for the home screen to become slightly smaller (showing other home screens in the process) and then dragging that item to the top right where it says "remove." But again, I don't remember the item you're talking about.

Many people rate things (positive or negative) too early in using it. I've never used that launcher though.

And many people like things personalized, even if they suck. For example:

2. Slideshow
3. Settings

Is your Gallery View set to "All" or "Albums" (top left corner)? It should be set to Album and you must be on the top level of the gallery. Being inside a folder hides the option.

To get back to TouchWiz, go through Settings -> More... -> Application Manager -> Scroll down to Nova and click it. Once the details open, scroll down and look for the button that says "Clear defaults". Next time you press your Home button, you'll be asked which launcher you want to use.
