Silent update last night?

Woke up and my Moto Droid was restarting.

oh lord here we go...no such thing as silent updates on the droid. Your phone my be alive though

Mine did too. I was surprised to hear "DROOIIDD" coming from the other room, so I ran to see what was the matter (like any good parent would do if their baby was crying). Droid was re-setting but also popping up Force-Close messages relating to android processes and such. After it was done re-starting, I powered down and up again.

So far, so good today.

I woke up to find that my droid had made me eggs, bacon, toast, and a big ol' glass of OJ for breakfast!!!!!

Just kidding, My droid auto reboots sometimes, but not very often. I really don't worry about it too much.

me too, last night around 8pm eastern time mine restarted and it was checking for SD card errors.
Is someone watching me through my camera? I'm not bring my phone with me in the bathroom no mo.

Mine did the same thing.. But it auto restarts from time to time.. Not to worried about it.

If you think your Droid did update, posting your firmware information which can be found in Settings -> About Phone would be a good way to check.

My Droid updated last night despite the fact that I am rooted and have blocked over the air updates.

I got Android 2.2, Flash and this great new app called Google Rub-n-tug. If I launch it I am told to put the phone in my pocket and then it vibrates for 5 minutes...quite nice.

I woke up and my droid is a transformer I guess, my droid is now taller and has a GREAT google translate service, when I ask what it is, it says Version 5! Wow, musta got some weird beta, I got my droid from tatooine, bunch sleazy ewoks sold it to me...

Hmmm, odd as it is my Droid just re-booted for no reason. It's only done that once before! Just saying.
On a side note, it did take the dog for a walk earlier but failed to pick the poop up. Bad Droid.
