Root Having some serious issues with my ZTE Force for boost!!

So last week i decided to trade in my old evo and get the force, which i definitely did not research enough, or i would have stuck with the evo.lol
But anyways getting to the point, i have rooted it and got the wifi tether for root users working to run my ps3, BUT, it only will last about 30 seconds before my 3g bars go dark and it signs me out. And my 3g bar constantly goes out all day long even with all 6 bars. I go over my data use amount in a day so im stuck on 3g thanks to boosts throttling. So i have a few things i would like to fix on this and it would be a nice phone.

1. Is there any way to get my 3g to stop going black and fading out on ics, Like a booster or something like that?

2. Could there be another way to run an infrastructure hotspot on my 3g connection?

3. Iv tried manually turning on my 4g in all kinds of ways But never seen it on once since I'm over my usage cap, anyone know how to manually activate it?

4. Last but surely not least has anyone heard any rumors from boost for an update including the hot spot feature to its LTE devices, or should I just go get another evo or s2 and say to hell with the hassle? Lol

Any answers would be great to know cause I researched every topic to no end and tried 1000 various "solutions" to these problems still to be sitting at a dead end looking at my ps3 sitting all not signed in.lol
By the way I did the avid root running everything stock, in case you were wondering.

1. Your 3g will go black when the phone has lost connection to the data network which is likely because you have bad signal. It happens to me when I use my 3g at home because my signal is crap.

2. I do not know, hopefully someone else can respond to this one, I haven't rooted yet.

3. Boost restricts 4gLTE once you go past the 2.5 GB then allows it again once your next month starts. Its either that or you live in an area that is not covered by Sprint's 4g LTE towers. Try going to either boost or sprint.com to check the coverage map.

4. I have not heard anything about a hot spot. What's weird though is both boost and ZTE answer my other emails pertaining to just common questions but when I ask about Jelly Bean I get no response. Possible spoiler I hope!!!

I'm sorry you are having trouble with your phone, I personally have no complaints but I have experienced these problems on other phones before. I hope my response helped, sorry its so late lol.

Thank you for replying and yes you helped me support my fears for the subjects lol but i dont have any big complaints with the phone itself i love the quality and build of the phone and everything about it is very smooth. The only things i would improve on would be the wifi hotspot and possibly like the quick settings menu on the evo design 4g to toggle your network but other than that im happy with itt

WiFi tether for Root users.apk - why pay for hotspot when u can do it for free? Lol

Yeah I have Wi-Fi tether for root users I have configured it to run a hot spot viewable by my PlayStation (netd(master) and generic ics/jb in settings) the hotspot will connect long enough for me to sign in but I'll try to go to netflix or a game and my 3g will go dark with full bars and it will sign me out, i would have no problem paying for it if they offered it.lol

I didnt touch any other settings.

I actually have tried that set up as well as a few others the two netd ones are the only ones that connect it but they both make my 3g go dark and disconnect me after like 30 seconds or if I go into Netflix or something. I'll try just resetting all the settings in case I tweaked something I wasn't supposed to.

Okay so I reset all my settings to these best of my knowledge since reinstalling it doesn't change your settings, and i changed my connection just to cdma for the time being since i have no 4g data left, seems to be a little more stable. but I have got it to connect and run for about 5 minutes this time but it still won't play a movie on Netflix It still gives me an error im going to assume my connection just isnt fast enough even with full bard, im going to download speed test and change which tower im connected to in order to see if thats the issue.

Just be sure if you use the app to change back to normal mode when leaving your house or charger I'm sure this eats some battery lol I get almost the same as my evos 4g speeds here only on 3g it literally quadrupled my speed. Nice app and stress reliever lol

It is the 3g/4g Speed optimizer on the play store I set it on the highest setting I believe its 12/28/7 or something like that and turn your phone completely off and turn it back on and reopen the app to ensure that it changed after you reboot, it was the only thing that got Netflix working for me, its still a little slow but at least it works.lol

Hi everyone I am here because I am having issues with the wifi tether, it was working great for a while but now it will not Broadcast at all no matter what settings I use. I am not sure how to fix it and would really appreciate it if someone can help me out right now I am begging you lol. I was basically forced to use Pdanet full version to tether which does work, but I can not tether my phone to my PS3! and as far as Boost Capping 4g LTE, I have not had that Problem and I use about on average a month around 10-15 gig of data and have not been capped as of yet, same with a cousin who has the same phone and has bost. So it sounds like you are not getting the LTE service at the moment. Now when I was on the standard 3g/4g they capped me half way through a day due to watching netflix at work but with the LTE that is an issue of the past but back to what I am needing help with is the Wifi tether not broadcasting at all none of my wifi connecting things will pick it up at all and the wifi even says 0 up and 0 down, The 4G icon will be lit up but no arrows up or down. I am completely stumped on that and what could have caused it Like I said it WAS working just fine, but now its not I hope someone can help me with this issue because it is a real pain to have to tether to my pc with the usb and start the Pda net wifi broadcast just to get my PS3 online sorry for such a long post and I am Rooted with stock rom Thank you in advance for anyone that can help me with this issue

I think its the sprint towers. They come and go on 4g here one minute the work the next day they dont. Good luck.

I'm not sure that it is the towers because Pdanet works just fine, but no wireless tether will broadcast anymore but thank you for the info on sprint towers

thank you to all who tried to help with my issue i am not sure why it did what it did but it is fixed now to tell you what i did to get it to work again is i went to install force touch recovery wiped phone completely installed force touch recovery restored from nandroid and re set my settings device profile back to wlan(0) and changed the setup method back to Netd-Ndc (master) and it is working like it should now just incase anyone else has the same problem as i did there you have a fix now i am sure someone else has done the same by now but just incase it wasnt posted as that being an option i hope this helps anyone out that is having a issue with wifi tether not broadcasting at all this will fix that

ok well i am giving an update i did NOT get the touch recovery or any other cwm installed sorry my lack of knowledge of some things hurts sometimes lol i thought i had it installed but i guess it was just a factory wipe of the phone and was able to keep root and the wifi issue resolved so i am actually wondering as someone else suggested either in this post or a nother post that maybe the wifi stopped working due to a non existent app leaving crap behind after uninstall not to entirely sure though
