Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

ok,has anyone else had their phone change up on you ?i am on numberTwo v3.0.1 zve,now the only thing ive done was flash bluetooth fix,but my bluetooth w/o the flash worked fine with my headset,but ive been trying to tether my nexus 7 wifi 32gb with my phone,but had no luck,so i thought maybe flashing bt fix would help,it didnt, but the prob is i thought this rom had a section under settings ( more ) and the led flashlight but its all gone,it looks like stock screen of settings,anyone else issues like this ? i just used my flashlight lastnight now its gone,not even a shortcut to it,i know theres apps for a flashlight but just was letting anyone who cared and ldrifta to check into it to see if maybe something going on,or broke. i just looked at the description on this rom,and under my privacy settings the factory reset is there,but ldriftas description says removed,and flashlight setting should be there ?

I had a similar problem. Idk how many times i reflashed the phone before i figured out that USB debugging needs to be enabled for wifi hotspot, titanium backup, and root checker basic to work on my phone....

Why? I have no clue... Something to try. Please post if is the same for you.

hey guys!! jus checking in curious how the rom is running.. battery life performance, 4g etc.. all the good stuff let me know after the 11th LOLOL

Rom is working great! One oddity on my phone, USB debugging needs to be enabled to use wifi hotspot, titanium backup, and root checker basic. Weird. Otherwise everything else is good.

Hello all !
First off thank you Ldrifta for your dedication to our little esteems.

After the ZVE update I've been noticing my phone is a lot slower (network wise) than ever. I'm an avid Instagram user and the videos wont even load anymore unless I'm on wifi. Other than Instagram, I have noticed Google Navigator also takes a long time to pick up my location for GPS. The 4G LTE is still activated above but the network is extremely slower than ever. Is anyone else having this issue? (I'm on rom#2 v301 with bluetooth fix)

Also, is anyone still on ZVD? (any changes? (regarding metropcs update warning))

I was having issues with this ROM a few days after I flashed it. It was working great at first but then like a week after it just started lagging horribly bad. I got so frustrated I went back to stock.
I used the debloated stock ROM and just rerooted it and had no problems since. That was before Aug 11th. I was a bit worried but nothing happened and it's still working great. I get about 16-19hrs battery life on stock original battery, and no more lag on my dial pad. I was on number 2.5 ROM forever and loved it but this one has something not working right. Not to knock on Ldrifta's work which I highly appreciate as he also provided the stock debloated ROM. I'm just saying if you're having all those problems try that ROM and re-root so you can tweak it.

yes i was stock and rooted both nothing i even updated the apn and the apn conf file both nothing :smokingsomb:

I'm am thinking about rerooting since the forced update to ZVE with Number Two rom but I wanted to answer your question. I have been running the stock unrooted rom for a week and I am also having the MMS issue when trying to send pics. It also seems like my 4g is slower than ever before. Hope this info helps somebody.

Ldrifta Sorry I did not get back sooner I have been using the zve Rom #2 for the past month there has not been any issues with this version, its running smooth and better then before, thanks for the snapshot and the MyMetro it really helps.

I don’t know if this may help the others out there, when they upgrade was done to ZVE there is a option in system settings, wireless, mobile networks, system select there is two options one is metro PCS Only and the other is Automatic. Select automatic.
This will almost keep you most of the time between metro Pcs and T-mobile on 4g Lte.
Once again thank you for your time and concern in out performing the software on the LG Esteem.

Had #2 ZVE.... was flashed with CWM. Solid no issues. was running smooth. Had my Esteem lost/stolen when I was drunk and dancing in a club. WMD triggered gps while it was in the club. but within 30 minutes it was turned off, airplane mode toggled/ or they did a factory reset using the menu, and softbricked it.

anyway it goes, it's been 3 weeks no communication from my Metro phone. I logged out of all google accounts, change my passwords, ect...

So I bought a Tmobile GS4.

I was waiting for CM on the esteem. Would have been happy with it. But Damn, I love my GS4 so much more.

only drawback, my Metro esteem had more LTE coverage.

Wifi callling that Tmobile has... figgin sweet, cosidering my house is cell phone dead zone, near military base.

edit..... I went across town... picked up LTE and pinged 28mbps download, 18mbps upload on my tmoble. so i don't have LTE at the house. but, I have wifi calling. it makes up for it.
only a matter of time until metro and tmobile are fully merged anyway. so it will be the same. they already have full EVDO/GSM metro support in my area. I'm glad I got the GS4.. but seriously I still wanna see the esteem get radios working on CM.

Flashed #2 yesterday. Did a clean wipe using the EZ wipe zip. ROM worked great for a few hours, then it started lagging horribly. Phone had never lagged that bad at all. Reflashed the ROM and worked smoothly for a few hours. But the lag came again.

Anyone else having this issue?

I'm on ZVE. Came over from the S3 ROM.

Hello you said you JUST USED THE ZIPS . i would have wiped everything includeing the DALVIC CACHE. why dont you try it again and wipe all with zip and doit one by one

According to Drifta, wiping one by one is not necessary when using the EZ Wipe zip. I've wiped countless times using the EZ Wipe, and have yet to have this problem in the past.

Regardless, I just reflashed the ROM again and wiped both cache's manually. Will see what results I get.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Yes you can change those icons from ROMTOOBOX PRO. AND a apk called. NIJA MORPH this app is free and paid version they both located in the playstore . Be careful of nija morph . This is a framwork changing apk . Make a backup before you start. Post back if any problems or questions

Doesn't it automatically make a backup when changing something(ninja morph)?

Yes it does but if you wipe any data or cache due to this not being on the external drive it will be gone . And you really dont have a backup as of now . . So you can make a backup through . CLOCKWORKMOD , ROMTOOLBOX PRO OR NIJA MORPH. Just copy your backup to the external drive

yeah i new about those apps had them on my htc one but i wanted ti knoe if the rom it self can change them, like on my htc one i can change anything color cpu change kernal and all that. but thanks for the response i will flash this rom on my bros lg esteem/ and will the 4g icon say 4glte or just 4g??

Nahhh only from framework thats it . What u see is what u get it will change to 4glte. But i will suggest holding off changing the 4g cause since the Zve update this image
