Root [ROM] DroidSmith_Force - Beta

I'm not sure if this had anything to do with the changes you made in the ROM or the fact that I restored my apps via nandroid manager, but when I would restart my device it couldn't see any access points that were saved, so I had to restart Wi-Fi and then it would connect, also, I use a battery app that keeps the percentage always visible to me and I use batteryguru, the battery saving app by Qualcomm for snapdragon processors, and the battery app would display the correct percentage, but batteryguru would display the same percentage as when it started.

Version 0.3.10 is up and init.d is fixed. Sorry about the mix up

It's nandoridmanager. Some apps just don't like being restored. The new update is safe to flash over the previous version.

What about the fact that my phone didn't always vibrate when I touched it? Could it have been due to an app too?
And it's safe as in I don't have to wipe and restore the apps?

I've never seen an issue like that with the app, and the feedback works fine on my device. I always do a clean install and download my apps. Don't flash the new version yet. I have one last tweak to make, so I'm taking down the link for now.

Now when ever I restart it freezes at the green android.
Oh and while you're at it you should make msm-dcvs the default governor.
BTW you forgot to insert your dual core script. And does this ROM zipalign?

The dualcore script didn't have any measurable effect, so I removed it. I think this is because ZTE uses a special kernel module to regulate the CPU. This is being written out of my kernel, but its still a work in progress. The rom is zipaligned at the build phase, and I have not included a script to run zipalign at start up.

I just installed the latest update on my own force and it booted without any issues. You may have gotten a bad download. I put an MD5 in the OP so you can verify.

These ones http://db.tt/0h25sPcs I made the "start" script my self.

Look at your scripts. The Force is a dual core, so you have to set perameters for cpu0 and cpu1.

Please be specific when reporting bugs. Your initial post made it look like that the rom would not boot. While that may be the case the issue was due to incorrect scripting and not the rom it self

But I'm using these scripts perfectly fine on one of the older builds.
It's true though that after I insert these scripts and reboot my phone, the phone doesn't go past the green android, I thought it would at least get to the animated booting screen.
I'll edit the scripts though and try it again, but can incorrectly writing the scripts really break boot?

I have to admit I have been running DSF for a day or two and it does run pretty good anf fairly fast. Seems to connect to the voice server faster than stock. Haven't been able to try 4g yet since I live in the woods. will pack it up with apps and test some more. Lot of recustomizing since obviously u don't use my fav ring tones and large fonting for us blind folk but if there was one thing I would like in a custom rom it would be a way to enlarge all the fonts including the dang task bar. thanks Jim. :)

Well in my from for the warp I had added an app into the system to reset the screen resolution. I may be able to adapt it to thee force.
