I'm holding out for the 32GB version. I want and NEED that storage. Either on Moto Maker or the Developer Edition (although watch: the DE won't be "available" on Verizon). That's weeks or months away. This is the Galaxy Nexus launch turned inside out. Unreal.

Yeah, if I do end up getting one it's going to have to be the 32GB version, can't do a 16GB. I'm not in need of a phone right now so can play the wait and see but I'm already annoyed. I'm always annoyed w/VRZ, just more annoyed now...and Moto too, they can't go blameless.

Had a free upgrade on a dumb phone so I get to keep my unlimited data at least for now

I just got back from a 30-mile round trip to the Verizon corporate store. I talked to VZW rep there who confided that they were expecting Moto X stock to come in "within the next week or two" but that they can't nail it down for sure because they don't get many emails from "on high".

So there you have it. Quite possibly in store by the middle of September! Hopefully they'll carry the doggone 32GB model and I'll pounce.

Unless the Developer Edition comes out about the same time, then it's a no-brainer

Umm, 60 is 30% of 200.

I tried the FIFTYRMN first, then put VERIZON30 in the same box and entered that too. Not sure if it stacked em, but I don't think it did. Phone was still $139.99

Yeah, the VERIZON30 takes 30% off, which is $60 dollars. I think, Chief, that you may have confused 30% in the original promo post with $30 off. :hmmmm:

Just finished my order. I called in to see if I could get any other discounts and they ended up waiving my Priority Overnight fee. $199 + tax + $30 upgrade fee ( tried to get it waived but no luck ) - 30% + free priority overnight shipping = $183.xx ... to be placed on my bill. Not bad. Guaranteed to be here by 10:30 a.m. tomorrow.

I just don't understand why anyone would get the moto-x on Verizon when the maxx is the flagship moto phone for them. You get 32GB, much longer battery life, a little bigger screen and all the other goodies that come with the x.

Because believe it or not, some of us don't want a tablet with phone capabilities. Some of us actually prefer smaller phones that sit comfortably in our pockets or that are comfortable to hold in small-medium hands.

If the Maxx floats your boat, then by all means, have at it. But not everyone likes it, and that is the reason for not getting it.

I saw each of the Maxx, Ultra, and Mini today. Didn't get to see the Moto X. I still don't see the point of the Ultra.

My story is the same as many others with my visit.. clueless sales reps who don't know when the X is coming.

If you call back and complain to enough reps you can get the $60 credited back to your account. They won't put the amount on your CC though.

4.7" screen on the x to a 5" screen on the maxx is not a big difference. Also the maxx being thiner then the x should fit better in your pockets. Now a phablet is the note II as that is a big jump in size.
