Does anyone know if there is a way to send .GIF's via text message?

Which SMS APP?

Im using GOSMS and through opera I saved the .GIF and sent it in a text, but it was just a still image.

I was reading on another forum about people successfully sending .GIF's with their iPhones and I was just wondering if Droids could do the same.

Would certainly make texting funner and more enjoyable.

Explorer as in my default original explorer or any browser in general?

Do I do a press+hold to share?

or do I hit the more options button or w.e its technically called?

Yea I think that any browser should work, and yes the press+hold would be correct.

I can share with the stock browser, I also have "ES File Explorer" that the function works with too.

Still having problems. Sorry lol but here's whats going on.

Ive used both Google Chrome and Opera. Neither of them have a "share" feature from a long press+hold.

From Google Chrome I can:
Open in incognito tab
Copy link address
Save link
Save image
Open image
Open image in new tab

I used "save image" and when I view the image before inserting in in a text, the image is still animated. Once sent its just a still image. Ive used QuickPic as well. Im missing a step or doing something wrong. Not sure what it is.

Which browser do you use?
Which site the GIF comes from shouldnt matter should it?

I really wanna figure this out, because it would be hilarious to send GIF''s as text messages.

Sorry for appearing to be an idiot lol

Maybe I should have been more explanatory, or maybe I don't totally understand what you are trying to copy/past for texting.
You don't use "internet" explorers or browsers. You need to be using "file" explorers or browsers for sharing.
If you want the picture from the internet, you need to "save image" to your phone 1st(with your internet browser), then select the file from your phone with the file browser to "share" via text.
