Never really got third party WiFi Tethering apps to work at all except for Barnacle - and that was very inconsistent.

Do you have the 8/21 build? If so can you pull the Mms.apk from system/app and I think I can fix the mms issue.

I have it fixed temporarily till phenom gets to it standby...

Temp fix, its my themed version I'm using and also includes full screen caller id for the phone.
Wipe cache and dalvik then mount system, flash zip and profit. Report any issues on my CM9 theme thread. If you don't follow the instructions don't post issues. Thanks in advance.

I'm also seeing very high battery usage at times. The battery will suddenly drop quickly often with little or no use. I have mine set to 1401 MHz Max with SMARTASSV2 governor.

Its showing that Cell standby, Android OS, and Google Services are using the vast majority of battery.

I notice the Current CPU Freq will jump from 245 to 1401 MHz when just pulling down the status bar. Is that normal?

Seems the battery percent reported is not accurate. My phone showed like 7% when I turned it off and 20% when I turned it back on. Maybe wiping the battery status will fix these issues?

I've noticed that on some apps a portion of the screen gets cut off. Most recently I saw this when I was messing with the Android Central Forums app, the start up screen shows the word forums and the bottom of what looked like AC. It also looks like the options button at the top left in Gmail is cut off a bit. Are my settings jacked up or is this an actual issue and not user error like most of my problems lol?

Could someone tell me what the best or recommended CPU settings are that help to prevent lag issues? The 8/30 build runs great, no reboots & such. But it lags or hangs intermittently at random functions. I haven't been able to pin it on any certain app b/c its so random.
Just wondering if the CPU settings can help this or is it more of a memory issue?

I honestly think for this device the radio needs updated and this will have to come from Sprint, Virgin or LG...

I'm still on the ZV4 baseband and it seemed the same as the ZV5

Everything I've read said wiping battery stats is a "old wives tale"...
So far best battery life has been with this set up.

Brightness 50% (or less)
Sync Off
Location off
Background data off
Use Wi-Fi whenever possible as the radio eats a ton of battery.
One screen on Apex Launcher
No Widgets

Roughly 10 hours and some change with moderate usage.

Thanks for trying the hidden ssid anyway phenom. Great rom. Big thanks for bringing the optimus elite into the 4.0 realm. God knows the providers and manufacturers abandon products on a daily. Without Great devs like yourself, many of us would be stuck in the stone ages, with devices that still have life within them. Thanks again for the hard work. Looking forward to updates, keep up the great work man.

My phone will connect to my routers hidden ssid if my router is also broadcasting another channels ssid. (Main account hidden ssid, guest account broadcasting ssid) I can connect to the main hidden ssid. However if my router is only broadcasting the hidden ssid, and not the visble guest as well it does not see the hidden ssid at all(says out of range). I will investigate further into this mystery.

Would like to find a fix (other than clearing cache/fix permissions) for the GMail/Android Email problem of displaying blank message body. This happens three or more times a day. Very annoying.

I don't want to use K-9 or MailDroid or any other third party email client.

Don't recall this being an issue under Gingerbread.
