I wonder how many Galaxy Nexus people are going to upgrade today :) I hope to have that beauty in my hands in an hour.

I plan to be upgrading from my Gnex. I did not have the option to order online and pickup at the store. If I can get it in town within the hour then I'm good, if not, then I will go online and use the verizon30 promo code and pay for next day.

Strange one for me here. I called the store closest to my work yesterday and today. I was told over the phone that they are selling the phone and I could pick one up today. But when I get there I was told they can't sell them because they can't activate them for a few days. The LG rep just so happened to be there. He showed me his activated AT&T version and I played around with it and he answered my questions. He said he thought they would be able to activate them by Sunday.

Then I see this thread so I went on and ordered one with in-store pick up. Coupon code worked for me too. I chose a store near my house instead of the idiots at the store I went to today.

Side note, I am also upgrading from the Galaxy Nexus. How much do you guys think we can get for them on Craigslist, $100?

Damn fine work on posting the code info. I was going to forego the online thing and visit a store tomorrow. Instead, I used the code and chose expedited shipping for Friday before 10am and still got it for less than in store price.

Used son's upgrade to retain unlimited data...it's just one win after another. :D

How do you retain the unlimited data plan? I have two phones on my account and when I try to upgrade either one it requires me to switch to a new plan and lose my unlimited data package.

Used my sons flip phone which was upgrade eligible to get this phone. You have to add a data plan at that point so choose the 2G option. Once you receive the phone, call vzw and ask them to switch the G2 to your primary line and reinstate the flip phone its line. The 2G plan drops off since its back to being a flip phone again.

You can't just do it online? Switching the phones, that is.
