Root [ROM] Angry Bean / CM 10.1 [build 08.08.13]

I've had MMS issues with Angry Bean, persisting through the last 3 or 4 builds I've flashed... for me it was worse on outgoing messages, which would suddenly start refusing to send without a reboot (or sometimes TWO reboots).

Finally jumped ship to the Angry Unicorns based MumboJumbo ROM and can finally text reliably. I'm using the Angry Bean Gapps, as the MumboJumbo ones have funky colors. I'll probably try the next Angry Bean build if it seems to be well-received.

The latest MumboJumbo build does have some Wimax flakiness, although nowhere near as bad as Angry Bean 7/17. So far it has been better at recovering from spotty coverage, and when Wimax does go on the fritz I can usually recover by toggling airplane mode, whereas with AB 7/17 a reboot seemed to be required every time. Not to mention AB 7/17 hard-crashed quite often, most notably whenever I tried to do anything in Titanium Backup.

Been having issues with random reboots since 7/17 build. Sucks to hear about all the mic issues in 8/8. And 4G has never worked well for me with any build (its usually as slow as or slower than 3G). Is the Evo 3D Wild For The Night build any better than Angry Bean? Or should I just jump ship to another non-CM based ROM? MumboJumbo looks good, though I don't care for LG or Touchwiz launcher.

Draetheus, the launcher never matters to me, since I always install ADW EX as a first order of business. Haven't tried WFTN, but if you wind up going back to a GB ROM, I found Unsenseable to be solid and have good battery life. I couldn't stick with it, though (or Harmonia before that)... Jelly Bean is just so slick, modern and pretty that I always wind up coming back to it and living with the little eccentricities each JB ROM seems to have.

You can always revert to stock hboot and and stock Rom, then start from scratch. I had to do this once before when cm10 was first released. Also digital high over at xda has a sweet Rom MiuiV5 and I run it on the other evo3d I have

Ok, I just found out. I'm one of the happy people living in LTE area. They just turned wimax off. Yeayy.

Anyway. even with newer kernel google maps flickering.
