No you cannot watch any games on mlb at bat 2010, i had it on my eris i just returned this week. You can listen to audio and you get a ton of apps, the nice thing is you can listen to either teams audio feeds, but you don't get any video at all, except for a few video highlights several innings after the fact or after the game.

I have a question maybe someone can answer.

I am a "card-carrying" member of Red Sox Nation. As such, I get MLB at Bat Audio on my computer, for free. I only had my Eris for a short time and wasn't able to play with it much. Would I have to buy the mobile version, or is there some way to use the version I already get for free??

Nope you'll have to buy the app.

That's bad that they choose what games....I'm going to have to get the app anyhow so that I can listen to my Cubbies, unfortunately they aren't broadcast on FM frequencies just AM

It depends on where you are. Here in Sterling, IL we get it on 94.3 which is WSDR and is FM. We also are close enough to chicago we get 720am but in some areas it doesn't come in very well. 94.3 is just down the road from me about 2.5 miles so it comes in crystal clear, in fact this whole area it comes in well even 45 miles away at woodhaven lakes in mendota (amboy).

I don't think I will download the mobile app since I'll have to pay for it. We have the MLB package on TV so I watch all the games I want anyway. I use the computer audio for listening to the few day games while I'm at work. I don't think I will need to use my phone for that too! We make sure that nothing interferes with Red Sox games! LOL

Oh and just for the record there is no televised games at all, not 1 game not even a half of a game. You only get video highlights. Unless they've released a new update since 1.0.4 which was last week when i had my eris then there aren't ANY games broadcast on MLB At Bat 2010.

For whatever reason, the iPhone version of At Bat does include one live game per day (that they choose):
MLB.com for iPhone and iPod touch | MLB.com: Mobile

Hopefully this comes to the Android version soon.

It may i have not downloaded that version because i already paid $15 for the android version and refuse to pay another $15 for just one game. I've heard others complain about not being able to watch games on the android version compared to the iphone version so i'm pretty sure you are right. But i know for a fact the android version doesn't have any live video what-so-ever, which is a shame expecially since we are paying full price for an app with missing features. Ahh well, thats life.

Yeah i wouldn't buy it if i had the mlb package on tv. The app doesn't really offer anything but portability and some stats. Also if you live in an area where your favorite team isn't broadcast it would be handy, but really all in all it probably isn't worth the price they are asking. $5 would be a no brainer, even $10 wouldn't be too horrible, but $15 is just too much.

Yeah it is a couple minutes behind but thats not a big deal if you aren't watching the game at the same time. In fact directv is a good 20-30 seconds behind vs the radio, but its not something worth complaining about. TV will always be slower than audio, they have a special radio for people who want to listen to the radio broadcasters at the same time as watching it on tv, it allows you to set the delay so they sync up together. Its called the sportstrak radio i believe.

I wish they had MLB at Bat Lite like they do for the apple store. That is pretty much the same thing without the audio and one game (which is debatable if it is even included anymore anyway). You can keep up with the score and watch a cartoonish view of the batter. I can do this also on my teams (PHILLIES!!!) mobile website so I will probably just do that.
