Accessories for the Note 3

Just ordered it too. I'm going to try this one, naked and one that doesn't cover the screen and see which one sticks.

Me three! ;)

Picked up the flip case while looking @this one, also from e-Bay:

Leather Vertical Case Pouch for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 III Holster Belt Clip New | eBay

With any luck, the flip case will fit in the holster pouch.......

If not, that's cool. The holster is more for work, but,if the flip case fits into it,even better. :)

For giggles, I just took the flip case off my n2 just to see what it feels like. I literally never did that with this phone as I had a slew of flip cases waiting for the phone.s arrival. This feels so thin and sleek. It's making me think that the pouch might be the best option. Providing protection and allowing me to enjoy the phones sleek lines. Screen protector too though.

And of course since I already bought the s view case I'll enjoy that as a change up too.

Reminds me of when I peeled the ZAGG screen protector off of the PHOTON.Hadn't used a phone w/o one until that moment.
Of course,we're talking about something that was akin to an alligators hide in comparison, but what a difference to hold/use a phone w/o it feeling like it had been child-proofed.

I've been sans screen protector since, but, got the FLEXSCREEN from iloome on the way.As long as it provides a near-stock feel/experience,I'll keep it on.Otherwise,I'll jettison it into the fisfit accessory pile......

I don't think I am going to use a screen protector with the Galaxy Note 3 (pre-ordered). I had one on my Note 2 for ages, but it developed issues. I peeled it off, and it works so much better. I am ashamed at how long I put up with inferior touch functionality.

Anyway, I am debating which case to buy. I don't care about it being the slimmest option. Actually, when I got my Note 2, it seemed too thin! However, I don't think I am going to go with the ZeroLemon 9300mAh Extended Battery this time either (I have this on my Note 2 now). It seems too much. So, I am looking for some mid-ground. I had the Outterbox Defender for a phone in the past. It seemed like a good case.

I have given a lot of thought to the S-View cases. While I think it is a very cool concept, I think the "diary"-style with the flap covering the front would get in my way, even more so when actually being used, I think. I know there will be opinions on that...so, let's hear them. :D I have never used a S-View case before. So, I might be wrong, but that's what it seems like to me.

Other than that, which case do you all recommend? So far I have been leaning toward the Spigen Neo Hybrid or waiting for an Outerbox, but I am very much open to opinions and suggestions for the best protection and feel. Like I said, slimness will not be an issue for me with just a case.

I liked the concept of this one, when it was released much later for the Note 2, so I'm going to give this a shot:

Black Touch Leather Clear Flip Case Cover Stand for Samsung Galaxy Note3 N9000

Granted, I'd prefer it just being the replacement back cover (rather than a case), but we'll see how I like this.

Right now, I'm still trying to figure out if I'll get it at release or wait a little until Sprint finally drops the price to match the other providers.

Nice find! :D

I wonder if the non-flip charging battery cover would work (charge) w/this installed?

We'll find out soon enough.................

I've gone with an s view and the vertical pouch from eBay. Spent $40 total.

The way I see it, maybe I fall in love with one of them... or at the very least I'll have variety.

You should be able to use BOTH.

I would certainly hope that the phone with S-View cover fits in the holster... that's what I'm banking on, anyway.

Got an email from Monoprice and they're having a 20% off sale on Android accessories. Their choices are somewhat limited. They offer the same car dock that I had purchased (from mobilefun) for the Note 2, that I'm hoping will work with the Note 3. For those that want to chance it, the price is pretty good and much cheaper than the iBolt. Based on all the Note 3 measurements, the dock should still work with the Note 3.

Here is the link to the accessories (I'm going to try getting a USB 3.0, to see if it'll still apply):

For those interested, Amazon has the Samsung Smart Dock on sale for a pretty good price:

Amazon.com: Samsung Galaxy Smart Dock Multimedia Hub: Cell Phones & Accessories

$69 is way less than when it first released at $99.

And the All Share Media hub is priced pretty well also, at $67
Amazon.com: Samsung WI-FI All-Share Cast Hub, Wireless HDMI Display Adapter (Black): Cell Phones & Accessories

Of the two, I'd say my favorite is the All Share, but sometimes I'll use both the dock and the all share at the same time. The smart dock was such a great concept, being able to dock the device and have an external hard drive connected, but I had issues attempting to move files back and forth and found it to be much slower than connecting to a PC.
