Really not happy about this!!! I hope it's only a rumor, but a gut feeling tells me I will not see 4.3 on Verizon until X-mas :(

Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update reportedly in testing, to arrive by the end of the year

Basically, what they are saying S3 and S4 will get their updates early? Then, is this a marketing technique to make people with Note 2 buy Note 3? Which also means they will alienate Gear from Note 2 users for a long time (not like that going to help Gear anyway).

don't care. updates sometimes introduce issues and my note 2 is awesome as is. careful what u wish for. i've been burned in the past with updates on other devices

This. My friend has the Nexus and they have had 4.3 for awhile now and he said he didn't update because it was way too buggy. Same as the IOS7. Tons of people hate it and want to switch back to 6.

My phone is fine right now how it is. A big update is not needed. I'll probably hold off awhile when it's released to see what everyone is saying about it. I honestly don't even know what is brought to the table with 4.3.

Android 4.3 introduces an updated BT4.0 + BLE protocol which is a requirement for a lot of upcoming wireless gadgets and accessories such as new ***smartwatches***, wireless speakers, and various controllers that need low power bluetooth. I guess I'm looking at it from my perspective ;)

Android 4.3 coming to Galaxy S4 in October, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 by the end of December, Samsung Gear talk confirms - just confirmed the same, need for low-energy BT4.0 in order to work with smartwatches, etc..
