Help SMS problem

Hello,
I am sorry if I am off topic, I have a problim with my phone an HTC G1 - unlocked of network. Curently using vodafone in Romania. I've sent an sms to an wrong number(unexistent). Now I'm receving about 6 mesages (sms)/hour from my provaider that is telling mi to change the number of thet mesage and resend it. I've reset the phone and nothing, the provaider reseted my sim, reseted the signal that cames to my phone and nothing. They say that thei don't know what else to do. Please help!

I moved your post to the G1 support area ...

If i were you i would try a Factory Reset ...

Backup you phone before doing it ...
I am not sure what apps you have access to in the market ... but Mybackup Pro is highly recommended ...
and for your SMS msgs Txtract Pro .... both of these are Paid Apps

I've trayed factory reset and nothing . I put my sim card in other phone and nothing the sms stops, when I put it back in my g1 it started again. Isn't there an app that allows you to manage sms setings?? like: how long an sms is available if the recever is unavailable.

Having done a Factory Reset ..that should have eliminated the phone ... That the sim works in another doesnt prove completely that it isnt the SIM ...

You now need to check with your carrier and make sure your phone is properly set in its network and that the SIM is an uptodate SIM for 3G and SMS.

I found the problem! But not the solution!
The problem is: I've sent an sms to a wrong number, and that sms is stored in outbox, traing to send it self once every 40 minutes. The provaider system sends me back an sms that is telling me tha'ts a wrong number. The problem is that I can't find the outbox on my phone! If you know pls help!! My ideea is to uninstal the sms aplication(standard, that cammed with android) but how? and if I uninstal it how can I put it back again. I am hoping that by uninstaling the aplication will delete the sms to. Please corect me if I'm wrong.

Open your SMS program ... look for the bad number or something that has a mark to the right indicating it has not been sent ... also look for msgs shown as draft ....

Long Press that msg and you should get an option to delete...

I've deleted all my mesages, severel times, non of them had anything on the right. No sign of not send or draft. Isn't there a place where the mesages are stored, the ones that waren't send. Ore an aplication that has something like that: outbox,draft and sent. Or if you know how to uninstal the default mesaging aplication.
Curently using the default android mesagind aplication and chompsms.

i have the t-mobile g1 android phone too brought over from the US and I am getting the same message/problem as you. you are not alone! lets figure this thing out because it drives me INSANE!!
